Otherwise Engaged...

just a little breaking news:.

after several years of a great friendship with diane (previously posted as xena) things have started to really come together recently and i've succumbed to making an honest woman of her (or at least as honest as it's possible to make her.

last night (xmas day) i popped the question and she agreed to marry me (i wonder if she knows what she's let herself in for!!!)..

Ross, I hope it last as long as my best friend's. We are going to his 50th aniversary on Jan 14th. His kids and grandkids are getting it together.

Why be obedient to god?

if a creator god is real and he is the source of life well then i would certainly acknowledge that and give him thanks for my existence and for the universe i live in.

but obedience?.

my mum and dad gave me life, ensured my education, looked after my health and wellbeing, loved me, taught me the value of kindness and friendships and so much more.

I don't have free will to live, only free will to die. It's out there looking at me now and there is nothing I can do with my free will to avoid it.

Maybe we were put here to see if we appreciated life enough to receive it in another realm. We can only speculate.

What do you think the biggest danger to the end of mankind or earth is?

i love watching shows on the history channel, discovery channel and so on.

they had this program on the other day, on the ten biggest threats to mankind and the planet earth.

surprisingly, none of the items on the list were god destroying mankind or the earth, so that must be further evidence that the witnesses were wrong, go to college now and retire.

Post your Computer setup

since my dad passed away, i have his computer and desk now, added to mine.

so, in my small computer room 12 x 10 feet, i have 2 desks and 2 computers....lmao.

now, i don't know from which one to post from.. .

That's a project my wife and I have to do, get all the junk out of our computer room. I've got 17 cases of old flopy disk, about 200 cds and all kinds of boxes that computer parts came in. I don't know where to start.
