It was very important when I was young but now in my seventies it doesn't matter that much, sort of a relief not to be so influenced by it.

"sex only plays as much importance in marriage for how long it takes".. how important is it to you in your marriage/relationship?.
is it only better when all things are going smooth, do you use sex to get what you want or use it as a tool for punishment?.

One question: Why do you never hear a Muslin condem blowing up people, including children by their own demented followers? Why do different tribes of Muslins kill each other, sort of like the Catholics did to the Protestants many years ago? The old Judge R. had some insite when he said,"Religion is a snare and a racket."
Of course an individual may get some peace and meaning given to them by some words of a prophet(who was just as human as we are) and be able to feel a connection to some God who never shows up when man needs his help.

This morning my wife informs me that...
by xjwms inthe po is going to be contacting you, ... to invite you to the memorial.. (just when i wanted to get into a rage how no one gives a damn).

When they come by just bring up a question that they can't answer. One I used was, what is your heart that God judges you by? How is it developed, by your genetics, your enviornment, how you were raised? What is this heart? Is it your brain and the chemicals that control how you feel emotionally? Can you chose to have a good heart or is it just by chance?
It wasn't answered for me by them and they were ready to go pretty soon.

Hi everyone, it's great to be back
by fullofdoubtnow inthankyou so much for all the good wishes you have sent us in the last few days, trev has been printing up the emails, pms and threads, and bringing the cards to show me every day, and i get a lift every time i see him coming in with more of your lovely messages to read.. it's been a tough time for both of us, and it won't get any easier.
i am dreading chemo, to be honest, but i have to bear it, as i would anything that gives me hope.
but that's for monday, and i am going to enjoy myself as much as i can this weekend.

I'm so sorry you have to go through this. My grandson just finished his chemo and radiation. He was given a new bracelet that kept him from getting sick from the chemo and it worked. It was a test of the device and when he didn't use it he got sick. Maybe they can get you one. We will be thinking of you and send you our love.

MICHIGAN PEOPLE!!!...Multi-millionaire witness Pat Patterson.....

he built up an insurance agency in michigan, and sold it for over 10 million dollars.. apparently, at his big office in novi, michigan, he only hires witnesses and they are all making big bucks.. i know an agent who was going to work for him in another state (they do business in 10 states i think), but declined to sign up when he found out the organization was owned and operated by witnesses.. he said: "that explains the ridiculously low commissions they pay their agents".
they sell alot of life insurance.. why would this witness owned agency push life insurance if the end is so near???.

Pioneers
by Clam init's been a long time since i left the borg and jw matters are rarely discussed with my jw relatives.
i am however, interested in the subject of pioneers.
a few years back i half expected my nephew to do some pioneering, but he opted to get married at 19 to a fellow dub and it wasn't long before they had 3 little girls to support.

The pressure came from within in my case. It was part of serving God, at least that is what I thought then. I know now it came from my being raised as a JW and the praise given to those who did more. I never felt satisfied as a pioneer, it was just expected of me by the borg.
