  My Daughters Trauma

  yesterday evening my daughter had the worst fright of her life.

  she was taking a nap with emily, her 15 mo.

  Hi All,

  My wife and I just got home from visiting our daughter and she seems a lot better, and Emily is her sweet self, grinning and running around like usual. I vacuumed her floor while she and her mother talked out on the porch. I think she will be OK now. She still hasn't slept since yesterday, when the seizure happened but said she would tonight. It's not unusual for her to stay up all night.

  LHD, I checked my email, but nothing there yet.

  My parents said I had a seizure when I was little, the doc said I was alergic to aspirin, but I had a fever and I probably had the same type as Emily. I never had another one.

  My wife had two women that she knew well that were shot and killed by their husbands last week. Both men were on drugs. What is happening to people?

  On a different note, my brother attended the 50th. reunion of his school graduation and no one has died in his class. They are 68 years old. Sometimes good things happen.

  Hi All,

  Yesterday evening my daughter had the worst fright of her life. She was taking a nap with Emily, her 15 mo. old daughter, she woke up when Emily began shaking. She couldn't breathe, was turning blue and her eyes were rolled back. She was unconscious. She immediately picked her up and ran to her 18 yr old son and handed her to him(She doesn't remember doing this)and said help me. He didn't know what to do, so he called 911. When he looked up she was going up the drive way, heading for the hospital. She lives about 10 minutes from the hospital at normal driving speeds. She made it in 3 minutes. She was going 95 and 100 mile per hour, with Emily in one arm and driving with the other. When she got to the emergency entrance there were two cops behind her. Her other 16 yr old daughter was with her and so scared she was throwing up. My daughter ran to the entrance yelling get me a doctor, one met her and took Emily. After a few minutes they told Lisa they were doing a scan to see if there was brain damage, Lisa passed out.

  It wasn't as bad as it seemed for Emily, she had a febrile seizure, caused by a sudden rise in temp. It happens to about 1 in 25 children. There was no brain damage and she is doing fine now, but my daughter will never be the same. She hasn't slept since and won't leave Emily for a minute. I sure hope she can get over the shock, she cries just talking about how she felt. It scared me too when her son called from the hospital, but he said she was OK then. The Doc said it could happen at anytime again but in the vast majority of the cases it's harmless, but you can't calm Lisa with those words. She is traumatized.

  why waste time?

  if everyone here , or nearly everyone here does not believe the jw's then why waste your time going onto these websites.

  when everyone leaves the truth they automaticaly go to jw websites....why?

  if you no longer believe it why waste your time?.

  Lucid,

  May I suggest you read Crisis of Conscience and In Search of Christain Freedom by Ray Franz to free your mind to think about this matter with a clear conscience that is not beclouded by the JW influence. He still worships Jehovah and Christ.

  Not even the signs in Matthew , not Armaggeddon, or anything?

  Just about everything the Faithful Slave has ever said has later been changed because it never happened, beginning with Russell to the present. And you still believe it is the "Truth"?

  Please name one prediction or prophecy that they expounded that is fulfilled. ?????

  listen to this song.......... a friend of mine told me it was by who......... on their tommy album... i don't know what it's called........... but the guy say's.........." love,... rain on me"................ .

  have you ever thought of this, if god listened to the prayers of all the millions of people praying at any one time, with the different languages and request, how would he have time for anything else?

  maybe he has a great computer in the sky that handles it all for him.

  many prayers are only mental, is he pluged into the mind of all people or does he hear only verbal prayers?

  Have you ever thought of this, if God listened to the prayers of all the millions of people praying at any one time, with the different languages and request, how would he have time for anything else? Maybe he has a great computer in the sky that handles it all for him. Many prayers are only mental, is he pluged into the mind of all people or does he hear only verbal prayers? Maybe this is the reason so many prayers go unanswered, he just doesn't have time to walk about in the earth as he did in the Garden of Eden and talk to us as he did Adam and Eve, even after they sinned.

  Hi Celia,

  She was never that unlucky. I never even talked to her about JWs. She was born about 3 years after I quit. He husband's Grandpa is a minister and they go there to church, but I have never discussed religion with her. That is her own business and she can do as she wishes. My wife talked to her about religion I guess when she was growing up, but I never did. She seems happy with her life so I won't upset it with religious questioning.

  My youngest daughter is 25 years old today. My wife fixed dinner, made a cake and we fixed ice cream. We got her a present or two and just enjoyed her company. She is the joy of my life. I love my hugs that she gives me, don't know how I could live without them. I hope she has many more.
