every saturday and sunday our family was out in service.i vacation, temporary and auxillary and regular pioneered.
i never enjoyed it but did it because i was supposed to do it.
Same here. Did it because I felt I had to do it, otherwise I would be unfaithful. Always liked the rural service, you could sit in the car until it was your turn and still count time, that was the important thing, turn in that service time. I guess I was born an apostate rather than a JW.

puts plugs in his ears from the start.. now, it don't seem to be my imagination, but many ladies for some inexplicable reason seem a tad unreasonable at least once a month where anything i do seems to be wrong in their eyes.

here we are, quite happy in our own right, say something to this here balmpot, and wowwwwww irritable utterances just tumble forth with such degrees of unreasonableness tis almost funny to observe, but dare i laugh in their presence whilst she be in this most unpredictable of states?

I think I may be in the very early stages. I can't remember the names of things, like parts of cars, sometimes when asking to pass a food at the table, my grandkids names for a few minutes, words when I am talking and want a particular one to describe something. It seems more than just normal old age. Is there any way to get yourself exterminated when it gets too bad to function? Seriously I would prefer to be shot than have my wife or kids have to care for me like that. If I realized I was going to get really bad, I would do it myself.

if there is a god, why would god want/need worship from you?.
the only people who want to be worshipped or adored by the world tend to be mad dictators and film star etc.its a quality i've always hated the desire to have strangers love you even though they don't know you personnally, and i tend not to like people who look up to celebrities etc who they don't know.. so why would a god want your worship?
Why would God need sacrificies of animals, and humans, especially his own son? If you are a member of a mainline christain religion with the idea of the trinity doctrine, why would God sacrifice himself, to himself, so he could forgive current humans for a sin they never committed?

I have the same problem, but I have"Atomica" installed and I just ALT click the word I've tried to spell and it gives me the correct spelling, if I have come close to the correct spelling. It's free on the net.

one of the major reasons people get attracted to the jw's is because of their new found "hope".
if you are disillusioned or are no longer a jw , do you feel that you still have hope?
or are you unsure, now, about alot of things?
Some days I have hope and some days I don't, it depends on what I am working on at the time. As far as my eternal destiny, whether it's eternal nothingness, or somethingness, I don't have any hope either way.

i was wondering if any one has kept at least some of the books from the borg.
i have kept a few, mainly so i can have a good laugh now and then, and highlighting all the double talk.. what did you do with all your jw publications??
did you throw them away?.
Does the Society hold JWs to the copyright law and not let you copy the CDs or do they demand the money from all they can sell? I would like to copy someone's CDs if I can find someone with them in my town.
