  Talking in public

  was it natural for you to speak in public, either from door to door, or making talks at the hall.

  for some, it was a real scarry thing to speak in front of a group.

  was that a big load off your back when you quit going to the meetings?

  The poor thing looks like her mama! Just kidding. She looks like she would be fun to have around and seems happy with her mama. Enjoy her as much as you can while she is there, she will be grown and gone before you know it. My daughter just phoned and is comming down to spend the afternoon with her mom and me. We enjoy her visits so much.

  people often ask me why i don't have children...."is it because you don't like them?

  HI Scootergirl,

  That is a beautiful little boy. When I look at his expression it does something for my soul, it's hard to explain unless you have had a little child of your own. I was perfectly happy without children, but after having one of my own it added so much to my life that I would have missed. This may not be true with all people who have children, so I say let each do as they choose, it's a personal decision.

  What I really hate are those who have children and don't want them, and treat them that way.

  I am simply my son's 'dad'

  one of our neighbours had a nasty car accident (but was ok) and had to leave earlier to get the train to work.. she brought her daughter round in the morning as angharad had agreed to take her to school with our two and she is in dylan's class (our youngest).

  she is absolutely gorgeous and her and dylan are inseperable.

  he got into trouble last week for fighting (he's three and a bit) but we have since found out that the lad he pushed over had been picking on his little friend (that's my boy .

  I was walking from my house to town and my step-son's mother in law had picked up my grand-daughter from school. My 8 yr old grandaughter opened the window and said,"You want a ride with two pretty women?" I nearly cracked up laughing.

  Prayer? Why Bother?

  did it seem that jw's truly valued and promoted the avenue of prayer as a real force in one's life?

  when you *sinned*, it was like you needn't bother jehovah with your pathetic self through prayer and a one on one with the almighty and receive peace and complete forgiveness via this precious privilege god provides.

  oh no....you should talk with the elders and let them handle your pathetic, sinful self and leave jehovah and jesus out of it.

  Why pray for forgiveness, if God can't read your heart and you have to pray, you could fool God by praying words that you don't feel.
