It's all in the mind, if you don't believe in spirits you will never see one. If you get afraid of them you will get spooked. We are stuck in a physical world, so only be concerned about things you can see and touch.

especially about one of the girl's experience in fiji, with a tribe that literally saw demons and spirits.

For those who have old parents, how do you cope with them getting old?
by JH inwhen i speak to my old dad, i have to repeat about 3 times because he is deaf in one ear, but also he likes to make everyone repeat, becuse it's a bad habit he always had.
he always did that even when he had good hearing.
it's as if he has to see me to understand me.

Juni, grits are not nasty. Put some salt and pepper, with a little butter on top and eat them with eggs and bacon and fried apples for breakfast. Of course a biscuit is also needed with a good cup of coffee.

What's the funniest thing you did lately?
by JH inyesterday i was right next to my living room closet, which is about 2 feet away from my neighbours living room closet, since we live on the same floor.
let me tell you that i can hear everything on her side and she can also hear everything on my side when we are this close to one another.. so, unexpectedly, i made a very loud fart, and about 2 seconds later i heard my neighbour fooling around in her closet, 2 feet away.
you guessed it, she surely heard my very loud fart

One of the long term effects of growing up a JW...
by Pwned infor me anyways.. i still have nightmares about demon attacks.
that was the one belief that really had a grip on me growing up.
i was terrified of demons and even thought i was being attacked one night for bringing home a toy with a pagan symbol (ying-yang) on it.

Never had any fears when a child as a JW. My dad enjoyed life and instilled this in my brother and I. When I left in 74 I never feared 1975 at all. I just enjoyed my life each day and to hell with armageddon or demons.

Anyone ever have a psychic reading?
by Woofer inok i know growing up that psychics were a big "no-no" "because they get their information from the demons" but i have to admit that i have had a few readings in the last couple of years... i have consulted a few times with two different psychics.
i am amazed at their accuracy.. for instance, my fiance was looking for a job about a year ago so i consulted with this psychic and she told me he would find a job with a company that has the letter "w" in it and that he would be very successful there.
in fact he did find work with a company with a w in their first name and only after being there a year he got a huge promotion.
