  What if we are really alone in the universe?

  how would that make you feel if we were the only pleasant accident in inhospitable universe, if such 'miracle' newer happened elsewhere in our universe?

  if there are no other alien civilizations that could rescue us or ?show us the way?

  We are alone if we can't communicate with any other life. It seems everything dies, even the stars and galaxies so it's just a matter of time before this one goes out of existence. I sure hope there is something after this life but I doubt it, after all there is no evidence of it, that I have been able to find.

  My life is about over and it does bother me, but what can you do to stop it????

  Life IS hard to deal with.

  my son is in icu and my wife's sister-in-law's dad just died this morning.. my son was going with my daughter to charlston sc for the weekend.

  she went by to pick him up and he fell over and wasn't breathing.

  she had some training in giving artificial respiration and was able to revive him until the medics got there.

  Thanks for the kindness you people show me here. He was taken out of ICU and is now in a regular room,so I guess he will be home soon. You never know what tomorrow will bring so I am going to try to enjoy each day the best I can. My grandkids have a job now so I guess they will start paying us back pretty soon and my wife and I can go to the beach and have a recovery period in our camper down there at Emerald Isle. We like going in the fall when it's not so crowded and it's cool, plus cheaper to stay in the camp ground.

  My son is in ICU and my wife's sister-in-law's dad just died this morning.

  My son was going with my daughter to Charlston SC for the weekend. She went by to pick him up and he fell over and wasn't breathing. She had some training in giving artificial respiration and was able to revive him until the medics got there. We thought he was dead. He is doing better this morning. She was a wreck when we got there while the ambulance was loading him. She passed out a few minutes later but came to, but was shaking and crying.

  They think it may have been caused by a combination of pain pills he is taking for his back. The doc just prescribed a new one two days ago.

  They took him off the respirator and he is talking OK now and the doc is going to let him sit up a little later. I think he will be OK. It's been about 20 hours since it happened.

  Is Street Corner Work Dead ???

  years ago my wife and i used to spend an hour every saturday morning between 8-9 at the street corner work?

  at 9am we would proceed to the group for the pep talk and then put in at least another two hours in service?

  we were not the only ones in the street corner work.

  We did it about 55 years ago, but we quit and I haven't seen one on the street since. I hated doing it back when I was about 8 years old and everyone here quit when I became a teenager.

  i don't know they all must be pretty old and really set in there ways, especially with all the yes men they surround themselves with you know those gbwanabees at bethel,.

  i would say that all those gbwanabees at bethel must be pretty wierd too.. are(all) right,, what i wanna know is,, are there any younger men on the body so they don't all go senile at once?
