  Good News!!

  i posted a few months ago with my frustration when the make a wish foundation had promised a wish to my cousin that is 7 with cerebral palsy and then took their promise away.

  well i am happy to say that through advocacy on my part and my cousins part, the starlight foundation is going to send him this june!!!

  i know ginosko, he is the elder, a very good friend of mine, i told you about when i wrote the threads about the un and my congregation.

  One thing is for certain...my life is lived in a much more honest way.
  No longer do I have to swallow my questions or fault myself for not fitting in
  to the robotic life of people pleasing, page underlining and time counting! (The constant life of running, as though a hamster in an exercise wheel.)

  Am I a better person? Being free from the debilitating weight of judging others, I believe, makes me a
  "better person" by comparison to what ruled my psyche when I was one of the "hamsters." Also, no longer
  wracked by guilt-guilt-guilt is an incomparable new freedom which also tallies in to the "better person" category...totally!
  Also...I believe I have been "bettered" by being free to meet and invite wonderful people into my life, forming reciprocal friendships
  that have depth and substance.

  Would I ever allow myself to re-enter the JW (solitary confinement) world?
  Unequivocally the answer is "NO".

  I am so sorry you're experiencing the resurfacing pain
  of a major loss...it is a horrible and helpless feeling and
  when it rears up, nothing can stop it. Hearing kind words
  can at least help a bit.

  Last visit to KH today - DA letter - Official XJW

  well, i've been procrastinating this for some time now and taken my counsel from you fine people here but i finally made what will be my last journey ever to the kingdom hall today and posted my disassociation letter into the postbox.
