by uriah ini had an insight the other day, you know the type of thing - you walk past something everyday and suddenly you become aware of it.. well, many on this board probably have come to the same conclusion so if i am repeating it - sorry.

ok.. in my experience, i hardly saw any jw's except at meetings or meetings for fm.

i am doing at least 10hrs in the ministry have 5 bible studies place (on a donation) 100 mags and attend all the meetings.

Out of their own mouth
by uriah indid anyone notice that the latest km (uk version) in the article about the new circuit assembly program said in the last paragraph.
that 'jehovah himself has prepared this spiritual food...and that we would all cry out with joy if we attend all the sessions'?.
this must have slipped through the censor

Rutherford in Jail - quest for info
by uriah ini have read somewheres, which escapes me for the present, that rutherfor manipulated the dates of his (and others)jailing and release to better fit the 2.5(?
) days the 'witnesses' were slain and left dead.
can anyone shed any light on this please.

E-Watchman Judge for yourself

he hasd replied as posted below.. my opinion remains the same, that he answers a question you haven't asked.. what say any of you?.
this is not my question but one i read on jw.com and which i feel deserves an answer.

E-Watchman - What's his Game?
by uriah inbelow i copy a question and part of the answer.i have highlighted in red what i consider to be the salient part of the question.
if you go and look at the full answer you will see that he does not answer the question at all but pads out his reply, casting red herrings into the water so that it appears to be an answer and by the time you have read to the end you have, more or less forgotten what the question was.
this reminds me of a mormon i used to correspond with.

I was watching the telly
by uriah ini was in bed watching the telly this morning (what, i hear you ask, not at the meeting?
no actually) and the prog was "the world at war" on the splendid bbc2 - this is quality tv for all you americans that don't have quality tv and have to wait for ours to air over there - and this german was saying that he was present at the rallies where hitler was giving his speeches and that he looked around at everyone, their faces and apparent joy and ferver.
he said he listened to the speeches and understood the words but could not believe them.

e-Watchman - what do you think?

there are some interesting views especially about the demise of the organisation.. i can't help feeling that there is a guru-esque style about it but i found it interesting.. anyone else?

Jehovah's People
by uriah insince the program and at other times when jw's are 'in the news' i have always been told that.
'jehovah's people' would not do that kind of thing etc.. a typical response to the panorama was 'it's all apostates isn't it' or 'they were good actors' - .
yeah, right the guy in 'cuffs being lead to the clink, great acting.. what is my point you ask, mildly.. it is this.

Where can I see originals
by uriah ini have been reading various letter - walter salter, olin moyle etc and wondered if anyone knows if there is a scanned image of the original.
i noticed, when reading the letters, that there were a lot of typo's which led me to think that they may be inaccurate and the like.
like most of us i just want the truth and not someones axe grinding so any pointers would be appreciated.
