Or how about a person who was only publicly reproved and not df'd. They did nothing wrong but stopped going to the meetings. And they were dying of cancer and just wanted to talk to a family member but that family member told them they were afraid that their faith would be shaken. That dying person also had lost everyone in their congregation so they had also lost all their friends. They have no friends and no family and are dying. Watchtower you will fucking pay. The courts are looking more in favor of the ones who are shunned. It's just a matter of time and it's soon. Real soon. Just around the corner. Sound familiar?

Where I can find information on South Australia court case, where a JW sued his KH and the WTS after breaking his leg in field service?
by LUKEWARM in.
from memory a newspaper article reported on this some years ago - it involved the jw trespassing on private property, being knocked over by a goat, the homeowner being sued and having to pay damages to the jw.. initially as the jw sued his congregation, the wts defended the kh and itself with the statement that jw's are not required to go out in field service and that the ministry work is purely voluntary.... can anyone point me to a link?.

I remember being out in service one time and we had a call where on the back of the territory card it had read that the home owner's dog bites. Yet the idiot we were with went in anyways. It was a widow who had no kids but only her dog. When the guy turned around to go back to the car he was bitten by her dog. Later that afternoon he went to the hospital and from there someone had gone out to this poor women's home and took her dog away. It was put in quarantine for I think something like two weeks. She got the dog back but also paid for his trousers to be mended. I was pissed and got told off for telling this idiot what he did wrong. So thankful to be out and and ashamed to have ever been a joho!!!

When did they start yelling at professed anointed ones not to partake?
by newsheep inis this a new practice of the org or just certain elders wanting to throw their weight around?
we had received a phone call from a once mennonite man turned joho and he was upset.
the elders for three years in a row have hounded him not to partake.

Gone Rogue him and his friend were appointed two months after the elders wanted to use them in a judicial which they were happy to do. There were also on Label Lickers judicial meeting as well. These guys are in the Elmira, Ontario congregation. Don't ever say it would never happen. I was there and saw it all as well. The other kid that ended up being an elder was just recently reinstated and half a year later he was made an ms and one year later an elder. He too went along with the BS of the judicial meeting and two months after label licker was df'd both these two were made elders. I wish Mouthy Grace were still alive for she was there for Label Licker when Label Licker needed some support.

So someone can get disfellowshipped for partaking but once anointed they are really not disfellowshipped? Where is that in the bible? What a really messed up religion. I'm sure Jesus would have something to say about this since his apostles weren't anointed back then when they partook.

He said the one was. The other elder who has been an elder for years just sat back and let the young one do all the drama. The wife was so shaken up that she is too scared to partake at the hall so when they get home after the meeting they do it together. It's really sad what all religions are capable of . I wish they would all be done away with. So I gather this doesn't go on in other halls by the replies here.

Is this a new practice of the org or just certain elders wanting to throw their weight around? We had received a phone call from a once mennonite man turned joho and he was upset. The elders for three years in a row have hounded him not to partake. Last year him and his wife were yelled at and given a stack of printed papers straight from the org stating why you wouldn't partake. (young punk of a new elder)
Then this year he had a young elder who has only been in the religion for no more than five years (when they made him an elder he was nineteen and had only been a joho for two and a half years) come up to him before the memorial started and told him that he shouldn't partake. On the following Sunday meeting this man gave that elder a hand written letter letting him know he has no intentions of ever stopping. Next meeting he was hauled into the second school with two elders. The young one Andy told him that he was just doing his job as an elder and should be respected and feels very strongly that he should not partake. The other elder said he would have to hate to disfellowship him. This man said go ahead that there were plenty of other churches out there that will take him. The elder asked him if he would really want to go back to the teachings of hell fire and pagan worship. He told them that they are the ones that want to get rid of him and so he will leave that up to them.
He also told the elders that there is only one hope and not two. He does not believe that there is a heavenly hope nor an earthly hope but only one and that is you have to be born again, that everyone goes to heaven.
This couple are eighty-three years old. For the last three years they have been keeping the passover in their home. Right after the memorial they go home and redo it so his wife can partake of the bread and wine. Another elder walked passed him last Sunday and shook his fist at them telling him to smarten up.
If the number of anointed isn't important then why is this sweet couple being treated like this? We are so glad that we got out if people are being treated this way. Just never heard of this and wondered if this is standard treatment in all congregations now.

Since the cult is no longer spirit directed does that mean Jesus isn't directing them anymore? Wasn't it Jesus and his holy spirit that picked them in 1914??? Invisibly???? Another ends to the 1914 dogma yet sad for the followers who want to live these drunken fat pigs fantasies.

BRANCH OVERSEER : "Apostates are GOOD people !"
by Aleph inthis is quite incredible.during his talk, the branch overseer, made a special talk dedicated to the apostates.. he clearly emphasis his point, "apostates used to be between us, really you can talk with apostates, those people are good, of course their point of vue is different than ours now but they are mostly very nice poeple, and you shouldn't be afraid to talk with them.
"though as usual, the reaction of the brothers was quite the same, impassive, i was very surprise by this statement.i cannot assume if this is just a one man step ahead towards the apostates, or really a change in their policies, this came from the mouth of a branch overseer.of course, for obvious reason, i won't give the name of the brother, which is famous, but only here in an central european country.i would have expected him to quote more scriptures, but he didn't, he could have use the one for jesus himself :"you should love your enemies", as apostates were really the "enemies" for the wtbs for such a long time, maybe now that the king of the north is awaken, apostates are not so bad after all ?
just wondering....

How does that go? When arguing with a fool be careful that you don't become the fool.
