For me they are all cults.If you find one that makes you happy give it a just but watch for the same signs as the jdubs.

by bola inafter my exit from the watchtower shunning cult, i have received tons of invitations from different churches.
but because i am aware of religious cults, i need recommendations of churches that are not cults at all.
after exiting the watchtower cult, i don't want to fall into another religious cults.

Recent study links processed meats to cancer
by duc007az inso a recent study says processed meats are just as dangerous as cigarettes when it comes to cancer.
the wtbs has had a long time stance that smoking is a df offense.
my question is if there's proof beyond doubt, why doesn't the wtbs make eating processed meats a df offense?.

After walking through a few of bethel's warehouses just crammed with skids and skids up to the ceilings with Hershey's chocolates and candies, I'll take my chances on the processed meats rather than pure sugar.
When we use to deliver our product of processed meats to them, they didn't mind paying a pretty penny for other companies crappy bacon and breakfast sausage. If going broke doesn't kill them then I hope the processed meats do!!!!! But just the higher ups of course.

The "mis-truths" said by brothers during the Royal Commission.
by stuckinarut2 inmy sister said she heard several "mis truths" or dare we say, "lies" said by the brothers on the stand during the royal commission.. 1) vin toole lied when asked about the expression "theocratic warfare".
he said he was unaware of the term.
2) terry obrien lied when asked whether witnesses are free to research the organisation or free to leave without any negative consequences.. 3) geoff jackson lied when he said that the organisation doesn't run a 'police state' and doesn't criticise those who want to leave.

I wrote a sister all the bad on her governing body and what had transpired with Royal Commission , sent her the taped recordings, gave her my over view of it all and she wrote back and said she still believes this is god organisation and yes there are deceiving men in it but she still believes she is serving god the way he should be served.
It would have been better for me to just delete her email!

i was asked this question by 5 elders who sat as judges over me over the charges get this "speaking against the organization" this was truly the most kangarooie of the kangaroo courts ever.
when they first invited me to this meeting by 2 elder at my place of work i asked them what the charges were and was told speaking against the organization to which i said right the charges down on a piece of paper and sign it to which they refused.

The elders sat out front our property until my husband came to unlock them, The neighbours had called us to let us know they were sitting there so we kept an eye on them and four and a half hours later one Sat afternoon my husband unlocked the gates. Within a half hour it was over and hubby walked away from them as they were yelling out apostate and your disfellowshipped.
Then it was my turn and I went to my jc which was a joke. Six hours later they publically reproved me on grounds that I had discouraged young ones in our hall five or six years ago from pioneering. Those young ones happened to be the relatives to a guy we knew the elders were covering up. My story is under Label Licker. The elders had full intensions of dfing me but after I had told them if they try that I would go public with my tape. So they did the next best thing and that was tell everyone not to speak to me. The goons will do what they want to do and protect whom they want to protect even if it means protecting those who break the law.
This cult is a snake pit!

If the org is forced to report paedophiles to the authorities thanks to the Royal Commission, do you really think any jw will ask themselves why did it take another group of imperfect men to set them straight and not their all perfect faithful and discreet slave class? Now who really is the faithful and discreet slave?
