I prefer hanky panky.
I knew you were gonna say that. I guess I do believe in psychics now that I am one.
hi there everyone, just wanted to see if any of you believe in any psychics or paranormal activity.
i know that as a jw we are taught that any ghosts are demons and any psychic activities are demonized.
would love to hear any feedback and or any pesonal experiences you have had and if you believe they are all demons, or if there is a difference between good and bad spirits.

psychics? nope. hocus pocus though, now that's a whole other game.
without a doubt the most time-worn excuse of jw's when it comes to errors, omissions and failures of the jw parent organization goes something like this:i only ask that things be put in perspective and to also realize that the writers of the society are not inspired.. .
the statement above is certainly true.
the writers for the society certainly are not inspired.
I can never forget the time an elder held up a WT and said "I view this as a letter from Jehovah!"
I wonder where he could have possibly gotten that idea.
btw, ps Tom, which mag & date was that from?
.
i was wondering if anybody here has any stories about members of the governing body?
has anyone here personally met one of them?.
I failed to discern their ability to cover stuff up - as well as the eagerness ( me included) of the average Witness to deceive themeselves.
reminds me of a quote I ran across years ago while reading a book on illusionists...
"Mundus vult decipi, decipiatur ergo"
(The world wants to be decieved, decieve it)
Seems that the WT is quite proficient at the art of illusion themselves.

Ted "the Boss" Jaracz - dangerous. Don't trust him as far as I can throw a Mann press. Wants to be in control all the time. Head of the Bethel CIA the service department. Unkind, lacking in fellow feeling.
Just curious which one is really "The Boss"...Jaracz or Springsteen?
I've been told by my mother that Jaracz visited our house back in the ... well it was awhile back... in CA. I can just imagine that that may have had some impact on his demeanor and determination to be in control. See, my brother and I were little sometimes and I'll just bet we did something that day. Yikes, maybe it was him that put the whammy on us!
I've seen the name Quackenbush bantered about on here from time to time. Not sure if it's the same Quackenbush we knew back then or if he became a GBmember but I suppose a big name somebody nonetheless. Had a quite lovely daughter(s) as I recall Another "annointed" brother named Black also in CA had the old 78rpm records of Rutherford. He loaned 'em to my mom... (chuckle, chuckle) We moved and she still has them! My brother has put them onto CD's. Interesting crap ain't it?
i just could not stop laughing.... this is absolutely priceless.... http://www.wiredvideo.com/clips/av5/techtv-blooper.wmv.
i just love the way he stops himself dropping the f bomb, but still feels the need to use another expletive to convey his dismay at the situation... lol.
fmz
looked setup to me, intentional breakage.
because i love music so much, i wanted to start another thread on it.. what songs remind you of your ex?
the ones you have to turn off before you... a) cry your eyes out... b) get so angry you would like to curse out loud, or... d) you dont care, you like to be reminded of your past flings.. for me it would have to be anything from seal, or hootie and the blowfish, and anything jazz.
i dont a,b, or c, but i do get annoyed and dont like to be reminded so i switch the station.. anyone else?
Journey here also along with most Rod Stewart stuff. The Cult. Many others also. In fact I guess just about anything she loved I felt somewhat obligated to hate for a long time! There are some songs I doubt I'll ever listen to again though...too bad, too sad. Right now I'm listening again to songs from way back when (Doors are once again a current fav for some odd reason) and trying to recapture a sense of "anything is possible". Starting over.
.
what kind of perfume or cologne do you like wearing?.
i wear vanilla lace by victorias secrets..
It exudes a certain air...
a c.o in one of his friday night talks noticed when he was invited for meals at the brothers and sisters homes that everyone has their chairs and sofa's pointed at the direction of the television set and asked why do people do that.
then he went on to strongly suggest that everyone change this and either have their furniture pointed somewhere else or get rid of the television.
what a total moron!!
it is demonic to be enslaved to any habit.
You mean like attending meetings / bookstudies etc. each and every week year after year after .... ?
so there i was, slaving away in a customers front garden, cutting fascias and guttering to size prior to affixing them to his home.
like all window and gutter fixers, my clothes are covered with a hundred finger marks where i have used my forefinger to point in the mastic and then just wiped it on the nearest thing to hand, ie, me.
i look like i have been the victim of a 1000 seagull bomber raid.
"We can't be always right about absolutely everything, all the time, you know".
No, but Jehovah could be.
Perhaps he just chooses not to be? Keeps the faithful guessing.
