  when i was about 10 years old me and my service partner called on a guy that came to the door with a shotgun.

  he just said in the most deadpan voice you can ever imagine: ""if you don't get off my doorstep within the next 30 seconds im going to have to use this.

  " that was some scary shit.. we bolted.

  Eh the old lady sitting on the porch who started speaking in tongues...*LOL* my big tough guy dad making a hasty retreat *LOL*

  And one summer I had just about had it in service...it was really hot I remember..the brain was frying I'm sure.....I walked right up to this door and started to open it...This huge guy comes running to the door and starts screaming at me...

  Our Future After Terri Schiavo/ What Hangs in the Balance.

  regardless for how one feels about the situation surrounding terri schiavo, this will be a landmark case in american history, politically, religiously, as well as within the medical profession.

  to put this woman to death in the manner for which is being done, is inhumane and ungodly.

  criminals on death row are afforded a more deserving death than she has been given.

  rwagon....I have an aunt that has been in a wheelchair all her life. She has cerebral palsy. She can feed herself, she communicates in her own way, and now has several tools for spelling to help her talk to people. She has had a hard life, but I have seen her cry and laugh and get excited when the Cowboys win (Note only those in a coma wouldn't) and even keep her own special things like jewelry and so forth. I would never presume to deny someone like that the right to even that kind of limited happiness. I agree with you that we as a society must be very careful about drawing the line in regards assessing someone else's "quality of life". I do think though individual descisions should be respected and the meddlesome people who want to "keep you alive at all costs" should be relegated to a very special hell themselves.

  Pet Care, I need your assistance...

  well, my cat johnny who is 17 years old had gone from 16 lbs to under 10 in a short time, and we finally know why.

  according to the latest blood work, he has a hyper thyroid.

  the vet has told us there are only three options; pills (cat cannot swallow pills, never has been able to), surgery in which they would bombard the thyroid with enough radiation to kill it (very risky for a cat this age), and a medicated gel which we would have to rub in his ear each day.
