  i predict that, 5 weeks from now, on sunday, june 30th., meeting attendances will plummet.. mind you, i seem to recall that in 1966 they actually held the wt study on a saturday.. englishman.

  i posted this in part on another thread, but am curious to know if anyone else has had experiences with seances.. my mum told me her story:.

  why after 14 years?

  why trouble with posting to this site and meeting with other posters?

  i personally didn't have to respond to theocratic warfare until my parents decided to indoctrinate my children.

  Why after 14 years? Why trouble with posting to this site and meeting with other posters? I personally didn't have to respond to theocratic warfare until my parents decided to indoctrinate my children. Taking them to meetings, giving them Bible Stories, the Noah video, against my wishes...now the game is on and my wish is that some day they will come to their senses. Not likely, but I approach many times about issues even if it doesn't do any good, many of which come from the board. Not quite that simple though. There is no family now, siblings in jail or crazy, relatives dead or gone off the deep end....Help was never at hand for all that pre-kid craziness. Still isn't and dealing with the something not quite aftermath, but more like a tribulation. Brought on by folks who don't care about personal well being and happiness....if only I can make it until the paradise on earth and then I'll kick all their asses and take over!!!!! Theocrapic warfare indeed....

  as most of you know, neil and i have been engaged for about two weeks now.

  i was surprised and thrilled to hear him ask and am looking forward to spending my life with my best friend.

  for those of you who don't know neil personally, he's really the best thing to ever happen to me!

  i must say that as a neutral scientific observer of this site--it seems that things are kind of one-sided here.

  i thought this was a board with both devout jws and ex-jws on it.

  on further reflection it appears that this medium of communication should probably be called ex-jw.com.
