i heard that in the uk and europe there are more cars that run on diesel.
right now, i think the only new car (not counting trucks, you can usually get a bigger pickup in diesel if you want here) that is usually offered as a diesel is the vw...like the tdi and jetta, here in the us.. the reason i ask, is i am wondering how many of you that have diesel are or would consider using biodiesel, or using waste veggie oil, etc...so that you can cut your fuel expenses?
Oh and when I was there everyone I was with used diesel for their cars I think...and lots of Ford vehicles everywhere...thought I was dreaming that for a while lol..

So now we're going to get into a pissing contest about who's cops are better? What a joke. How about the five officers on the university campus who stayed for 5 days and nights trying to secure the area for relief efforts? Dealing with looters and some 3000 students by themselves. The good people will outshine the bad in this situation, but somehow I doubt that helps your rant very much . As well, I would be interested in where you got your degree in human behavior to say what anyone would do under such circumstances.....

I don't think anyone is interested in your judgemental self righteous nonsense ....Keep running your mouth...if you don't live in the states and make no contribution to our welfare then you have no right to criticize how we take care of this disaster. Lots of people are stepping up to help in all kinds of ways and that IS the American way. she was only in the hospital part of the day.
it is amazing how quickly they kick you out of the hospital nowadays.. she is fine, a little groggy yet, but should be back to normal within the week.. jeff

you may also send donations directly to the branch office... to the brooklyn address.
donations should be marked for the world wide work and not specificically reserved for relief efforts.
