Yep. Curling my lashes and putting on pant hose to be"modest" and ready for all the dribble that's going to be said. *sigh* Plus I have to deal with mary-sue or little miss perfect as I call her. One girl in my hall I can't stand and her clique. This girl always gives "amazing" answers and she has looks to boot as well as being a social butterfly. "She's so much YOUNGER than you Lexi, and she's SO strong in the truth. Maybe you should start hanging out with HER instead of Amanda (my best friend)." *barf* Oh and the other main girl in her clique with luscious long gold blonde curly locks that she flips every second and flirts with every brother (even the older ones). I hate cliques. And no one can deny there isn't any. "The Strong Ones" "The Elder's Wives" "The full time pioneers". Gimme a break. Everyone thinks they're more "spiritual" then the rest just because they hand out more pieces of paper. I guess I have to put on my "Good Little Miss Mary Jane" perfect mask always saying "I am SO happy to be here! *smiles at the elder I'm talking to* Oh no, I don't WANT to go to college, I want to go to Bethel". *sigh*

jwn is getting a lot of newbies.. if you are a newbie, what was it that started you posting here?.

was it the "new light" on the "faithful and discreet slave" or something else?.

But the experiences that led me here are:

1. I never fit in at the kingdom hall because we were poor and my dad was always on the road making ends meat so he couldn't make it to the meetings so my family was seen as spiritually weak and the girls made fun of me because I was shy and going through my ugly duckling phase and couldn't afford expensive clothes.

2. I have always had a love for fantasy/magic and such as well as anime and my mother did NOT take that well.

3. I never found shunning "loving" in anyway and how kind, goodhearted people would die just because they weren't witnesses. Made me so sad inside.

4. I noticed the only real friends I had were at school because they stood by me no matter what but my "witness friends" friendships were conditional.

I have a lot more but meh...

I just saw it with my best friend (she is a JW but I talked her into it and she LOVED it). It was fun sneaking behind my grandma's back to go. I LOVE fantasy. I liked this movie better than the other ones especially with all the humor in it.
