Well, well, well, glad to have you all. There seems to be some a lot of newbies here and that's great, I hope you love it as much as I do. It really has helped me to move on and deal with so many issues of being in a mind control cult my whole life.

when i first posted on this site, there were, i think, around 300 registered users.
now the number of registered users is about to reach 1000 in the very near future.
over on h20 the numbers have decreased, but the community owner, rick, appears to be mesmerised by the idea that it is still much bigger, and biggest is best, as this excerpt from a recent post shows:.

i can understand your wanting to help present jws and those looking for info on the organisation, but this is not the place for posting reams and reams of info.
most of us here know already this stuff.

In it's basic sense apostasy means a changing of a former belief. That's it, so if some changes realigion, or a beilf they are an apostate. Apostate is not a bad thing, and in no way is the same as heresey. As I brought out in my trial!
The Elders were talking about Apostasy and read the above deff. from the elders book, so I said, "Well then all JW's who have kept up with present truth are guilty of apostasy!"!!! HAHAHAHAHAH

well, i went to see my parents last night.
it was the first i had seen or spoken to my mother in over 8 months.
i also was able to see my nephew who is almost 2 and whom i haven't see in exactly a year.
I'm so glad you got to see your little nephew. I have a niece that's 2 & 1/2 and I haven't seen her since May. I used to see her 3-5 times a week and baby sat all the time. She is very similar to me too, which freaks my sister out (isn't it fun). I think that's one of the hardest things is she has no idea why she can't see her Auntie anymore, probably thinks I don't love her or something. That kills me, but I know that in time it'll all work out. It has too. I'm so glad you got to see your nephew even if I am a tinsey bit jeleous ;)
