however, i've noted some radical methods that have been used by fellow exjws, and quite frankly, this must stop.
My own twin sister who is a zealous JW stopped preaching to me when I asked her this question:
If God is able to listen to the prayers of billions of people (as all religions teach), then it must equally be easy for God to communicate with all people simultaneously. Without going for such an easy option, why does He use people like you to communicate with other people?
thumbs-up gesture doesn’t covey much if we see only four fingers closed and thumb standing upward.
but if we look for the implied meaning, then it is a positive, informal signal indicating a job well done, and saying ‘keep it up.’.
similarly, biblical accounts don’t convey much if we see them as mere accounts.
If what religions teach (God can listen to prayers of billions of people simultaneously) is true, then it would mean He can also communicate with billions of people simultaneously.
Yet He doesn't do that? Why? It is of no use. Everyone knows one day he would die, and has seen the death of many people, and billions of people who ever lived on earth are no more--yet most people behave as though they won't die, get immersed in accumulation of things in abundance which they won't finish using before their death. Why does this sure thing as death have no effect on people? If this doesn't influence people, what else would influence?

To JWs coming to me I always say: "Religion must be chosen after you are mature enough to do so--may be in the second half of your life, after making enough observations." This is implied in the famous verse of Jesus:
"By their fruit you will recognize them"--Mathew 7:16
Then I put a question to them: If you really follow Jesus, what you will do first?
Jesus defied/rejected the Scriptures of his time, and appealed to each one's conscience--Mathew 7:12
this has always baffled me.

Any festival is a joyous occasion. The word “festival” in one language means “that which makes you feel elevated.”

many people point to the irrationality in the depiction of god by the religions and their scriptures, hence jump into the bottomless pit of atheism.
in either camp, god is not a factor because religion is only a means that misrepresents god, hence religionists themselves are atheists (literally, those who live without god).
it is like saying there exists no earth because you found out your friend who taught earth is flat is wrong; or it is like saying mathematics itself is wrong because you found out your mathematics teacher made a mistake.

If René Descartes (great mathematician and philosopher) were here, he would have said He liked at least three of them whereas you don’t like all four. This is the beauty of life. Certain things are like time—it looks short during happiness and longer during a wait/pain. Everyone’s taste is different. When we permit little space around them, everyone is comfortable. Just like hating all those four makes you feel comfortable, loving them all four makes me comfortable.

You see dubstepped commented (before you) he liked the 4th one but hated 1-3 whereas you hate all four of them. If Descartes (great Mathematician and philosopher) were here, he would have said He liked three of them, at least. This is the beauty of life.
