  see....this is the downside to leaving the forum for a while - you know you've missed out on great conversations and it takes f o r e v e r to find older threads.. so....help a-sista out....what's the 411 on the mass exodus from brooklyn, the sale of the buildings, the $$$$ made, etc.

  besides the obvious need to meet their legal payout needs (suppress all chuckles), has anyone followed the money trail?

  I think the stimulus for the Watchtower leaving Brooklyn was 911.

  The destruction of the World Trade Center happened too close to the location of the Watchtower Headquaters!

  i was just thinking about all the fear i had when i was a kid that i would be attacked by demons if i wasn't careful.

  i mean i lived in absolute terror over it, so i'm going to reminisce about the things i was told were demonized and you can add to the list if you'd like:.

  the scriptures and the facts support that conclusion..." where will rutherford hide the bethel family?.

  watch 82 8/15 p.10 ".....as a precuation for the saftey of the bethel family, a place of refuge was built in south lansing new york...it was never needed for that purpose...{rutherford's "scriptures" prophecy failed}...later it was transformed into gilead missionary school..." {by knorr and franz}.

  i found these first two disturbing as they seem to instill fear, especially in children.

  there was a youtube video that contained an excerpt of ciro aulicino's talk "you will be with me in paradise".

  at some point it was removed by youtube.

  it now shows the message, "this video has been removed as a violation of youtube's policy on shocking and disgusting content.".

  Some people can't believe that the "You Will Be With Me In Paradise" recording is that of an actual talk given by a Watchtower representative.

  Here is a comment made by someone about it.

  I grew up as a JW, and went back a couple years ago to some meetings to see how things have changed. This doesn't sound real to me, I don't believe this is real. This person is full of hate. Is there any proof that this is a real talk given at a convention? Since it is just a recording and someone says it is this and that,? does that make me believe it, because I don't.

  Awhile ago a poster here remarked that Ciro Aulicino went directly from grade school to Bethel!

  He is now 81 years of age.

  Ciro's whole life has been with The Watchtower.
