What is Samuel Herd's cranial capacity?
at the last district convention i remember feeling really embarrassed by the out of date references made about wars and other issues.
for instance, they talked about the hutus and tootises also the serbs and croatians when they talked about war.
they also talked about dr spock telling people not to smack children.
From the Wikipedia.
Benjamin McLane Spock was an American pediatrician whose book Baby and Child Care, published in 1946, is one of the best-sellers of all time. Throughout its first 52 years, Baby and Child Care was the second-best-selling book, next to the Bible.
Born: May 2, 1903, New Haven, CT
Died: March 15, 1998, La Jolla, San Diego, CA
a relative called and said another relative called them and mentioned some book about the life of rutherford and russell.
is this correct?
i wouldn't be surprised if they were publishing more 'white washed' information to try to diffuse the facts people are learning when doing real research.
"God's Kingdom Rules!"?
And the book talks about "Pastor" Russell and "Judge" Rutherford?
Sounds like the title should be:
"The Watchtower's Kingdom Rules!"
Also, the title of this new book is too similar to that of the old "Babylon The Great" book which had "God's Kingdom Rules" in its subtitle.

the watchtower has forced a rather strange interpretation of the word "generation" in order to keep their doctrinal beliefs concerning the year 1914 consistent with the words of jesus "this generation will not pass...".
however, the watchtower's "overlapping" definition of the word generation is strange and unnatural to common use.
according to the watchtower, a grandfather, son, and grandson all living at the same time would make up a single generation.
The Watchtower has forced a rather strange interpretation of the word "generation" in order to keep their doctrinal beliefs concerning the year 1914 consistent with the words of Jesus "This generation will not pass..."
However, the Watchtower's "overlapping" definition of the word generation is strange and unnatural to common use. According to the Watchtower, a grandfather, son, and grandson all living at the same time would make up a single generation. Ths does not make sense.
Here is a definition of the word generation.
"Generation, the entire body of individuals born and living at about the same time."
Now consider a definition of the word "Population."
"Population, the total of individuals occupying an area or making up a whole."
It seesm that the Watchtower has taken the concept of a "population over a time interval" and gven that meaning to the word "generation"
I do not know what the Koine Greek word is for "population" or if there is even such a word in the language.
Regardless, it is easy to see that the Watchtower is playing games with Biblical prophecy and interpretation by giving a new meaning to a simple word used by everyone.

Why did the Watchtower pick age 80?
Why not set 70 for the cutoff age?
Also, wasn't Moses 80 when he met Pharoah and led Israel out of Egypt?
i have been reading this forum for umpteen years and have heard of so many ways that the watchtower is making money.. .
would you mind contributing to help me compile a list?.

we had a co looking for a certain experience for an assembly part coming up and the elders in my hall at the time sent him to see me, since i usually had good experiences out in field service.. anyway, after speaking with the co, i was sorry to inform him that i did not have an experience that suited the type he needed.
he told me that was o.k.
because he could use me anyway for another part.
It appears that the Assembly experiences are simply stories made up to tell the audience.
There is no guarantee that the stories are true.
