I thought one of the things that distiguish God chosen Jahovah witnesses is they dont pay, its all volentary work, or did i miss somthing lol.

the society gives them a minimal wage to preach 130 hours so we should be the ones sending them money and good and clothes.
it's not like they help the community they go to, i've known missionaries when i was younger who were in deepest darkest soith america in villages with no water, instead of passing in skills and worthwhile tools they just study then go home.

Hi, yes know what your saying. There was a horizon program (UK) a few years ago that explaned this re RNA, and i am wholly with you on that, the point i was making is that that in my opinion is the only agrgument creationilist can push as in there is a possibility that the RNA or even DNA could of came here on a comet or asteroid or poss by some other means, from some where else.

Hi i don't pass comment here very often as not a witness, though would like to make two points on this thread if i may.
1/ 98% of all species that have ever existed on the earth are now extinct.
2/I have yet to see or hear of a documetery such as the video in the first post to surport the creationilist argument, though i am sure if there is such it will be pointed out to me, lol.
Just my thought on this, the only thing i think has the remotest possibility of ever being created by any thing, or one for that matter is the DNA strand.

After 2000 years since JC was executed ,why have we heard not a whisper from GOD ALMIGHTY ?
by smiddy inhe/she had no problem talking to adam and eve ,though they were sinners in his/her sight .throughout the hebrew sriptures, ot, he /she had no problem communicating with fallen man ,imperfect humans , to dictate his will to his subjects by means of prophets , male and female ,according to the bible , the old testament ,the hebrew scriptures , god communicated not once ,not twice ,not even thrice ,but dozens of times during the first 4000 years of human history according to the bible.. why has this god been so silent these past 2000 years ,when their have been atrocities above the scale of anything that has ever been seen these past 6000 years of human existence .. oh you may say that the atrocities were not committed by god they were committed by man.
fair enough .but god intervened in human affairs in such smaller infringements.
with prophets or so the bible says.. the so called apostacy after the last of the apostles , the influence of satan in the world ,( or was that after 1914 ,) and the 2000 year gap when christ was supposed to return ,never mind about all the crap that went before it .. the fact remains we have never heard from god ,any god, or even" a " god, with either his/her approval or disapproval of events good or bad these past 2000 years... smiddy.

in our day, god continues to show loving-kindness in ways that directly benefit his worshippers.
consider the matter of prayer.

How can a "God, who Cannot Lie" (Titus 1:2) justify DESTRUCTION?
by fedup ini was raised as a jw, most of my family is still in, i regular pioneered for 5 years, elder for even longer.
preached for over 40 years that the 1914 generation will see the end, etc, etc... believed every single word, and preached it with total conviction.. i have not been active for approx 7 years, completely faded now, mainly because i couldn't believe a loving god would destroy me, after coming to terms with and admiting i was preaching a lie.. i'm extremely happy i'm out, although still hitched to it somehow by my past, i guess like many of us on here.. i do have a question for all jws.. how can "god, who cannot lie" a god which is love, justify destroying the world, including all of us that left, and saving only the jws, when for decades one of the main teachings of the jws has proved to be a lie?
a teaching no one wants to discuss anymore, which got covered up by a new light, which most can't even explain.

Hi guys some help please.
by AMO inwas having a drink and chat with a witness freind of mine the other evening (he is an ms) and i got him on the subject of the candic conta case.he had not herd of the case i gave him the court wed site address and case number so he could look directy with out googling as i thought this would encorage him to at least have a go.
then i bought up the changes in the sheepherding the flock book prob due to the court case and i said to him thay where good changes but did not go far enough.
then he asked what book it was, i explained to him the book, then he said he would ask an elder freind of his to have a look for him self.
