Just stop and walk away. Don't live a double life or hide. If they try to DF you just ignore them and let what happens happen. Don't go looking for trouble, but just live your life. Pretend they don't exist. Never let them have control over you again. Maybe the fade works and you avoid DF by luck. But if it doesn't, don't meet with them, don't talk to them. Tell them not to come back to your house, you will call them if you need them. Tell them you will get a restraining order if they harass you on the phone. Just let them do whatever their silly rules want them to, let them spend tons of their time all busy with the horse shit. You live and forget them. Whatever they do doesn't matter. You are free.

Yes it went away for me quickly. It should be gone for you already just because you know the whole truth now. The meetings are keeping that programming and brainwashing going would be my guess. I have no guilt and no unworthiness feelings. I'm still the same good moral person I was but without the baggage.

on one hand, he's enlightnened many to the internal circle jerk that is the governing body (circa the 70s).. but if there's one reason that can be pointed to for the jws becoming full on cult, it's ray franz.

without him leaving in the manner he did, and stirring the pot, they might not have change the rule (retroatively i might add) on shunning of disassociated ones.

they specifically changed that so they could remove him and eliminate his influence.. his actions single handedly have created the situation where we have to fade, evade, leave marriages, say goodbye to family, just because we don't buy the jw bullsh!t anymore.

the more i read the gospels the more i get the feeling that jesus warns about organized religion or those that overbear on your faith telling you completely how to worship god.

let's say luke chapter 12 is talking about the f&s.

does vs 45 on mean that the f&s can turn bad so to speak?

Evidently, the reference to a "bad slave" is figuritive here. Some bible scholars point out that the Good Slave is literal. We can be confident that the faithful slave is providing food in the proper times. Jehovah God is no doubt pleased with His slave as seen by the dynamic and unprecedented growth of Happified kingdom proclaimers worldwide. Are we not thankful for what Jehovah provides by means of His slave for his people? Our happiness no doubt moves us to contribute of our time and "worldy riches" so that this momentous preaching work can continue. Reports are heard of even young children forgoing toys to give to Jehovah and his store house. Surely we feel the same way! May our appreciation for this "good slave" move us to help advance this soon to end work as well.
