Recent Update - Service Report
by Da.Furious inon oct. 22, eight brothers were released from prison in turkmenistan by presidential amnesty.
(see 2014 yearbook, p. 31) the ninth brother is still imprisoned, but it is hoped that he will be released shortly.
some were already in prison for three or more years and had been severely mistreated.

As a teen my friends and I had awesome "calls". I had one on one side of the county and then others an hour away on the opposite side. Had to drive through a few creeks and dirt roads to get there. Good old Mr. Harris was always there for a visit and chat about his farm. We would sometimes strip down and swim in the creek or take the car mudding on old logging trails. I had to quit pioneering when I needed a full time job.
Counting time... A unique specialty of the JW.

Welcome! So cool to be out and have family. You are lucky the fade has worked for you. If it were me, I'd make sure the whole family knew to expect certain awkward and uncomfortable moments were people inappropriately try to guilt or witness. But, I'd remind them it's a small price to pay to have the ability to still go to a wedding. My brother will be getting married again for the third time soon. I won't be invited. Surely will be uncomfortable some but hey, enjoy it. Hold your heads up and just let people see how good you all look and feel.

Was the Biblical Canon Directed by God?
by Chris Tann inthis is a question a sincere christian may agonize over after learning that some books of the bible were rejected by certain early christian groups,while other books that did not make the canon were accepted.
also,when one realizes that so called inspired writers of the greek scriptures quote from apocrypha,that most christians reject today,one wonders if these writings that include these quotes should even be in the bible.. it is true that when it comes to the christian greek scriptures the canon has been closed for many centuries.
also, these books have been accepted by christians ever since the second,perhaps first,century.

It's simple really DD. You just choose which books you personally like. You discard whole books or verses that do not reconcile. Plus, listen closely and pray to Jesus and he will talk to you. It's easy.

My anointed mother sleep over!! She hears demon creaking at night and my wife cheats on me!

Very simply, to any lurker or JW who might ever see this - Evolution has nothing to do with how life began. That is a different topic well known to anyone who has looked into it. Abiogenesis is the study of how life began. Evolution is the study of how life changed, adapted, or evolved over time, usually longggg periods of time.
