  i want to practice a thechnique that was shared with me today about opening the eyes/minds/hearts of jws.

  i need someone to argue the way a jw would about the following question and i will reply and so on until the end.

  can i experience "eternal life"?

  Shawn,Taking in knowledge is a process that leads to eternal life. Knowledge will lead to faith, but faith without works is dead, only he who doing the will of Jehovah will eventually inherit everlasting life.

  The will of Jah is that we "go therefore and make desciples" Matt 28, by doing this we demonstrate that our faith is not dead. . Are you doing this? If so, you are asked to endure, only he that endures to the end is the one that will be saved. So, at the end (armageddon) you will be saved.

  they were jws and blame everything on their jw past???

  i know of people that never tried to get ahead or prosper themselves because they were witnesses.

  never bought a house or a brand new car because they would rather rent and drive around in a jalopy that would break down.

  Yes! Out of all the exjws I know personally in r/l NONE of them fit the description of those you mentioned who keep moaning about there past! I really do think such ones are a very small minority.

  I'm soooo pi$$ed.....need help..

  i hope someone can help me with this one............................ i finally got the money together to take a holiday to see my sister out west.

  i also booked this flight to have my son come along with me as he has never flown before...he was soo excited and so was i.we planned a 8 day trip for the march break and planned on finally seeing the mountains and checking out the biggest mall in the world..... we booked our flights and used my debit card to purchase the tickets and 10 hours later, the company we booked the tickets with ( jetsgo) went bankrupt!!!!!!.

  I received it in the mail today...It was only 95% of it, but I will take it!!!

  Oops, only just saw this...too cool, its better than nothing and takes a bit of the sting away. Good!!!

  Ok, it was interesting to get others perspectives. If unconditional "love" is being interpreted as a "loveydovey" feeling, then thats not what I'm talking about, surely "loveydovey" is superficial and never unconditional. I dont have "loveydovey" feelings exept when I'm eating my fav food. I always interpret "loveydovey" as being a soppy kind.

  I was interpreting it in the way that a lot of others have done. eyegirl and others pretty much summed it up. Its just a bond thats always gonna be there even if its not being shown or recieved. For instance, we can love someone that has died, the bond remains even though they are no longer around. The situation has changed but the bond hasnt.

  Oh yes, I misunderstood.

  I have a brother who has done some pretty bad things to upset my family and I but in no way has this stopped me caring for his well being or caring about him. I cant imagine ever giving up on him or not being concerned as to his wellfare. I still dread now that one day he will do something stupid that will cost him his life. Other people would have given up on him all together but his family wont regardless of the dirty stokes he has pulled on us all. I guess I am defining unconditional love in a unbreakable bond type of way.

  I'm sorry, I don't believe it. I think that theoretically, there must be some line for every love that, once crossed, will make that love die, thus eliminating "unconditional."

  But you still love the person, even though what they did was so bad, therefore it wasnt on condition in the first place, otherwise you would have stopped loving them when they did the bad thing.
