Gotcha, I'd highly recommend you read the link Monk3y provided. Dont divulge any information here that you dont feel comfortable with, let people guess, you dont owe anyone an explanation or an answer. You will know when its the right time for you to be more forthcoming.

Personally, I have 2 sons, they are too young to be exploring thier sexuality just yet but when they do there will be no pressure from us, whatever decision they make will be their personal decision, nothing will ever make us love them any less. I just hope that as their father they will be able to see me as someone who will embrace them unconditionaly and as someone who will support them through life.

Each person is complex, being gay or straight is only part of the comlete person. If, at the end of the day, you cant embrace their sexuality, then at least embrace all the other things that make that person unique and loveable.

hello it's been a long time since i was here just needed some input please from all loving parents...would you rather your daughter be:

1. married to a guy who's not really that great (history of having lotsa women, irresponsible) but seems to love/like your daughter.

2. be gay (with woman who is quite good, responsible and everything but - a woman...).

You just have to let the daughter make her own choices in life, if she ends up with 1, 2 , 3 or 4, then thats ok, even if its all a big mistake she will learn from her own mistakes. The druggie sounds the worst choice, but even the druggie could change and turn out to be better than all the others. Its all trial and error.

of all the privileges only brothers may have, doing mics seemed to be one of the most tedious.

it was definitely something you could graduate from... but why?

when i was the sound guy, it was always so hard to get brothers to do the mics.

Last time I did mics I wacked a sister in the mouth by accident, the thud was so loud across the speakers! I didnt want to do it again.

How about car park duty? What a privilege that was huh! Walking round in the snow with headphones on pretending to be listening to the talk..

however this has me interested!

have any of you seen the documentary "9/11 conspiracy, in plane sight?

Still, the issue is not that the event didnt happen, it certainly did, undeniably (Though I'm sure they will be trying to deny it in 50 years time), the issue is that the conspiracy theorists try to lay the blame for it on the USA Government rather than on the terrorists. Its similar to those beheadings that were shown live on the internet, see that bloke with the cape on, you couldnt see his face but you could see his ring? That was george bush ;)

Since the USA government also caused the Tsunami, it wouldnt surprise me if the conspiracy theorists are correct. (now you must know this is sarcasm and not to be taken seriously)...

my name is jaron, 19 years old, i'm from the netherlands, and in about a month i am going to start joining the jw's meetings and i'm kind of looking forward to become a jw.

i can of course tell ya'll my entire spiritual story, but that would take an entire bookwork.

in a nuttshell: my father is an ex-jw, my half-sis (from an earlier marriage from my dads) is one of those "special pioneers", and i am jewish (my mom is jewish).

Its ironical that JWs miss the point when it comes to the blood issue, they still argue that " when blood is broken down into particles its ok to use certain particles as long as you dont use the other particles", you even get a lengthy WT article explaining which "partical" is ok and which "partical" is still forbidden.

So the issue for them is the definition of the lil "particle" rather than all those children and adults who died in the past because even the lil particles were not allowed.

They have blood guilt on their hands, yep, they do!
