  if any of you wish to kindly make donations to vicki boer, we are formulating a vehicle to attend to this as we speak.. we have been in touch with vicki, who is understandably deeply distressed at the turn of events that have forced her to relive much of the trauma which she hoped that this court case would put to rest, and are wresting a plan which would allow her to receive personal donations aimed at her well-being rather than enriching either the wts or her advisers.. an address will be forthcoming shortly, together with a paypal email address which will allow you to send your donations or well-wishes to vicki, scott and the girls.

  it will not be a canadian address or bank account.

  there are a number of important points that any donators would need to assess before donating any cash:.

  However, as someone above brought out - this will be a CONTINUING SITUATION for Vicki & Scott. The WTBTS will be haunting them for years to come demanding $140,000 from an innocent victim.

  So, we can CONTINUE to help over this long haul.

  Please don't forget OUR letter writing campaign! Look for Expatbrit and/or Scully's thread with ALL the info you'll need - letters and addresses ready for you to print out, sign & send. It IS that easy to make a difference.

  This is the website Scully's referring to..............already been there.........already printed out.........and in the mail.

  One thing I found - we know more people than we give ourselves credit for sometimes. WE need to write letters..but we can help others too.

  • Talk to our workmates

  Let them know - and/or show them - what has happened to Vicki Boer through no fault of her own. Ask if they'd be willing to sign letters in protest?

  If you're willing, print out the letters for them, even stamp the damned envelopes - have them sign them, and "pop them into the mail!" (scully).

  I've now sent out FIVE complete sets as of yesterday.

  Sign the letters - it appears in THIS instance --------it is important to SIGN THE LETTERS, eh? I didn't realize the above question was referring to WT letters.

  I've read that before when writing to the WTBTS. Even jw's are afraid to sign their letters much of the time, particularily sisters. But it's been said that the WT "in box" throws away unsigned letters a lot of times. Most likely some young kid.

  Don't give 'em the chance...... Sign the letters!

  If I send this to all the local newspapers as a letter to the editor would they print it without my legit signature on it?

  In letter writing from xjw's in the past - please give a simple reason why you can't print your real name.............the WTBTS will df' or da' you -which means that you will lose your family, all jw friends, and a good chance of losing your job. Briefly explain disassociation in terms they can understand of a fundamental religion (being a Servant of Satan and viewed worse than a rapist/murderer.)

  That way, there is a REASON for no signature.....which can help this situation, as it shows how low the WTBTS really is. (The real Servants of Satan)

  THANKS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED IN GETTING THIS SITE TOGETHER - it will make things so much easier for all of us.

  As mentioned earlier.........We NEED to keep this thread active!

  The Society's View of Women

  the watchtower society has regularly spoken about the role of women.

  the publications have given strong hints that women are to be considered inferior to men.showing special consideration to a female has been expressed as "from the devil" tipping one's hat toward a female in a respectful gesture was viewed as wrong.the may 15, 1952 watchtrower stated the following: "we can be sure [jesus] did not get in any line to kiss the bride either-- so we leave such woman-exalting practices back in the creature worshipping world, where they belong".......did you feel that women were treated as equals or lesser ones in the congregation?

  I thought they were telling you to stop masturbating within 6 minutes or you'd get a very unpleasant surprise......like warts.

  Hey James,

  The first thing I thought of when I read your subject line was..."Want one of mine?"

  But I know what you're writing about - my mil was silently condemned when she got pregnant in '48. The "time was so short" there was no time for having babies. And when she had another two years later.....she was viewed as unspiritual.

  Why that woman has stayed so many years, I don't understand. Many of the locals has been so cruel to her.
