  remember the annual km about the summer convention, and the experiences listed therein about how the brothers were so well behaved some convention manager would say something like, "we'd have them back next year.

  Hmm, if I told them once, I told them a thousand times not to contact me any more.. They are DF'd, and I don't talk to DF'd organizations.. Nothing good can come from it, they are like all the others, liars, and they have turned their back on our doctrine (charter)!

  They no longer believe in:

  Childrens rights
  Peace to the world
  Human Rights
  Religious Freedom

  and anything else we support.. They have completely abandoned us, and I hope they die and become bird food!

  as of 6:02 pm last night i received a facsimile from paul hoeffel at the un on the wts.. he gave me 3 of the 4 things i requested in two paragraphs.. i have sent a scanned version to steve bates and someone else.. i sent it to kent and randy.

  and kent and randy have posted the official united nations letter on their web sites.. here is the letter - put your cursor on the image and then right click on your mouse and hit "save image" to your computer.. .

  I have to admit this, and if later someone reminds me of it, I'll deny it...

  At one point with my friend, I was seriously thinking of telling him..

  "Look buddy, I love ya and you will always be my friend, and I'll always be here if you really need me, but I follow god, and only god.. You follow men, and my god (via the bible, show him the scriptures) said that I should get away from people not of my sort.. You understand, it's nothing personal, I do love you... But I cannot associate with you.. Maybe occasionally we can eat together, or if you ever get stuck and need a ride home or something, feel free to give me a call, but my relationship with god is more important than our friendship.. I'll see you in heaven"..

  Ok, OK.. I felt bad even thinking it then, and I feel bad saying it now, as I know it's not his fault that he believes as he does.. He has been 'brainwashed' into thinking the way he does, and he didn't even have a choice.. He was born into (oops, sorry, they like to say Raised) it... He deserves my unconditional love more than anyone I know!!! But it was good to 'think' of it, if only for a moment or two!!!

  You are correct, there is a difference between the Chair and the directors (or Prez)..

  mY point was that in Crisis of Conscience, Ray Franz had stated that the GB decided that the GB and directos should NOT be the same people, so the GB could concentrate on the "Spiritual" <Gag, cough, choke> stuff while the Directors and Prez concentrate on the "corporate matters"..

  For instance, if we recall our wonderful "Mr. Gilles" letter to Mr. Bates, you'll remember that Mr Gilles said:

  "One of our legal corporations .... blah blah blah....

  Un-beknown to the Governing Body...... "

  Well, if our buddy Barry was BOTH on the GB and the PREZ, how could Mr. Gilles state that the worldly corporation knew about it, but the GB didn't???

  I thought that Barry as on the GB, but wasn't part of the corporation per say...

  Now that I know he's both (Maybe I'm kinda slow, and we knew this already) it adds even one more lie to Mr. Gilles statements!!! As that would be impossible!!!!!

  perhaps you recall the instance in the bible where samson made a wager with the philistines that they couldnt guess his riddle.

  as it turned out they wheedled the answer out of him by his fiancee, but the point is that they had a wager.

  since the underlying assumption of the apostasy is that we are not living in the last days of this system of things, and that this world is not facing anything remotely like the biblical apocalypse, at least not any time soon, in the spirit of such antagonism, i would like to propose a similar wager.

  Hey,

  I remember reading somewhere (I think it was Ray's CoC book) that the GB decided to split the GB and corporation directors apart, so the GB could do it's "spiritual" <gag, choke> work without having to worry about the "worldy corporation"..

  If Barry was a member of the GB (the only title of which is GB member, or Chairman when the rotation appointed him chair) then why was he also the VP and Prez?

  Unless I read that wrong, I guess they didn't do as much seperating as they said they were gonna do..
