as of 6:02 pm last night i received a facsimile from paul hoeffel at the un on the wts.. he gave me 3 of the 4 things i requested in two paragraphs.. i have sent a scanned version to steve bates and someone else.. i sent it to kent and randy.

and kent and randy have posted the official united nations letter on their web sites.. here is the letter - put your cursor on the image and then right click on your mouse and hit "save image" to your computer.. .

after you look at kent's web site and you people still think this it is a fake letter, phone paul hoeffel yourself at (212) 963-8070.. hawk

It would be interesting to point out to a JW the "kind words" to the UN in the awake of the last 10 years, then contrast that with all the "evil" they point out in the WT over the past 10 years, and then ask them which one of God's magazines do we believe? Because he is giving mixed messages, and talking out of both sides of his mouth here.. Why would GOD stumble me so???

Did God tell you to start talking nicely about all the good that the Catholic Church has done? Show me one article in the Awake! or WT that points to the good that Catholic Church does? After all, the Catholic Church supports Unicef and most of those other things as well..

I had a cat that absolutely LOVED water.. Everyone told me when he jumps up on the kitchen table, spray him with water.. Well, the first time I did that, he sat there, looked back at me, as if to say, "keep on going", that feels good..

So, from that day forward, he needed a daily "spraying".. He also jumped in the shower with me..

He also had another neat habbit.. When he was a kitten, I had ants in my kitchen (Fire ants, the little red ones that bite).. Well, he went into the kitchen and was "playing" with the ants on the floor.. I guess one bit hit paw, because I heard this loud kitten "whine" and when I went into the kitchen to see what happened, he was shaking his RF paw and licking it..

From that day forward, every time he saw an ant, the claws came out, and he sshredded the ant into tiny ant pieces.. Actually, he was quite busy during "ant" season..

He also would have to sleep on the bed next to me, would lay on my lap, follow me around like a dog would.. Unfortunatl, he had one MAJOR draw back.. He hated any visitors.. Acted like a dog with me, but anyone, and I mean anyone, that would come into the house, he would attempt to attack.. I had to lock him in the bedroom when visitors came over, and even then, he ruined the door because of all the scratching at it trying to get out, making his 'attack' growls.. He cared many people!!!!

Well, I'm really a dog person, so after I moved to the house I live in now, I can finally have dogs, so instead of a cat, I have a dog now..

A letter I received from a JW

this is a letter i received from a jw, sent anonymously.

it was hand-written in red ink, and i have little doubt that had the composer a supply of blood handy, he or she would have written using that.. this was received in response to a very compassionate letter my wife and i sent to our former friends and family, telling them of our reasons for leaving the organization.. the attitude expressed here is typical of the treatment we have received since leaving the wtbts.

(i am roundly blamed for my wife leaving the org, since she was considered to be "strong in the truth", whereas i was always a nominal witness at best.).

Let's hope the people in Bethel are watching... One can only imagine the 'twisitng' of words they are attempting to do now for damage control, and it sounds like everything isn't found out yet..

Gee, I wonder if Brooklyn is suffering from the "What else are they gonna find" syndrome yet?

If they aren't, I have a feeling they should be!!!!

On STUMBLING BLOCKS

just a few loose ends and random thoughts for a select group of readers who have not been completely defrauded of your faith.. on the topic of stumbling: stumbling typically involves the mistakes of others whether real or perceived.

the reason jehovah does not consider any stumbling block as a valid reason for abandoning ones faith is because a persons faith should be in jehovah and christ in the first place.

and since god most assuredly did not let his worshipper down, what a fellow believer does or does not do should have no bearing upon our personal relationship with our heavenly father.

I could have sworn I read somewhere (WTY Jan 15, 2001, page 12 - "Overseers and Ministral Servants Theocratically Appointed") where the "theocratic order" you now hold in the JW religion was done by "Jehovah" himself, and that all MS, Elders, etc were appointed by the holy spirit itself..!!!

How does Jehovah tell you if someone is 'worthy' of the position or not?

I also thought that the organization claimed that the F&DS was "DIRECTLY INSPIRED BY JEHOVAH".. After all, where does all your "new light" come from? It couldn't be that men just decide on a whim to change things, do they? No, isn't it Jehovah himself that sends the 'new light'? For, if it's just men, then aren't you just like the Pharisees?

Finally, who gave you the right to change the baptismal voes? The bible states, "In the name of the father, son and holy ghost".. You now ask 2 questions (See WT June 1, 1985) and no where is the holy ghost mentioned... In fact, it states "God spirit-directed organization"... So, either God gave the F&DS personal knowledge "Directly inspired" to change the bible text, or men changed the bible text? For that matter, if you claim they were not "directly inspired", then I would like to hear your explanation of "Indirectly inspired"..

If God did it, then you are claiming "inspiration", in which case Deut applies.. If men did it, then the "plauges" are brought upon you for adding or subtracting from the bible itself (See Last few paragraphs of Revelation).. You choose..!!!

Or, are you claiming that the "inspiration" blinks on and off just like your "new light"? When the F&DS say something that turns out to be false, they claim they were not inspired, but a mere man was fallible.. When they speak of everything else which has not been proven false yet, it was via divine inspiration.. Funny how divine inspiration turns out to be "man's fallibility" after the fact.. Hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20.. Use god's name until we are proven wrong, then revert to human fallibility..

With that in mind, are you speaking using Jehovah's name when in reality Jehovah had nothing to do with 'new light', appointment of elders, etc?

BTW: The Jan 15, 2001 article touches on Baptismal issues as well.. Of course, they quote the "in the name of the Father, Son and holy Spirit" in the article, just fail to mention that is not what they preach any longer!!! (As usual)..

major news folks.. i have obtained the dpi directory for 1999/2000, published by the un's dpi in 1999. i have copied 19 relevant pages of this document.

lloyd barry's name and ciro's name are both mentioned.

also it gives the criteria etc.

Because, interestingy enough, it's one thing to say the apostates put them on the web site, it will be a whole other issue to say that

A.) The UN verifies they were affiliated between 1992 and 2001
B.) They were published in the NGO book
C.) Ciro and LLoyd appear in the NGO book

Hmmm.. Me thinks that they cannot reliably lie their way out of this one.. Of course, loyal JW's will overlook it, but JW's searching for the real truth will make them stop and think about this one..

And the lies the WT tells will cause even more problems with the JW's.. In fact, my guess is the lies that the WT will/have done to cover this up will cause more damage than the actions themselves!!!!
