tonight i posted on hippikons thread about what type of sex are you having ?

and it got me thinking .....how important is sex to a relationship ?

what are your thoughts , is it possible to have a stable marriage without it?

Jesus Christ!! another topic about sex! And most of the posts are from these poor women whose hubbys are smelly,disgusting blobs of flesh who are only concerned about rattling off a batch! If the man turns you off that much, pull the pin and and leave!! Its really quite simple. Men are not that hard to satisfy just show an interest and don`t lay there like a old bathrug. Women seem to bitch and moan about the same things all the time," can`t stand the sight of him but will still live here because he is a hard worker and I`m comfortable" BULLSHIT ! If your husband is a smelly, smoke ridden waste of skin, well, you know what to do, quit whining about it and leave!! And for all those who SEEM to think their BIT of advice has never been heard before (" Just bend over the counter and drive it home") WHOO! HOO!! Dr. Phil did you you hear that? What a revelation! I think I will try that...yawn.. Men can and will be pigs...thats our nature,but as a man I get a little tired about hearing all these women who love complaining but do nothing about the situation.And the same goes for men whose wives think its alright to hold back, again man, if its that bad show her to the curb!! i thought id give you an update re whats going on.

my qing the wts of recent has been very hard on my wife.

if i could, i would change my timing of doing so, but its just the way it has happened.

Winston, kudos to the way you handled those two dopey buggers. You did a fine job of showing support for your bride and at the same time showing them that YOU ARE the head of the house (so to speak) and that your wife comes first.( And please, all those out there who are offended by the "head of the house" quote, sometimes someone has to take the bull by the short and curlies and get things done) . These 2 loons see that a person is contemplating suicide and ALL they can think of is how they can get her out in service more ?!! TYPICAL, TYPICAL ,TYPICAL. You showed a whole pile of restraint that will be of some benefit later on . Winston , your post was very personal and well written , I could just imagine their faces with that stupid clubbed seal look just waiting to jump in and offer some spirtual food that you may not of read before. The problem is that they really think that a Watchtower , prayer and more service solves every problem a JW has. And that is why it is so easy for them to dole out advice, its the standard mantra that gives them the warm and fuzzies and the belief that they are doing the right thing. Again you did a fine job and with the right help, your wife will be on the road to recovery. All the best ......Waygooder64

i find it quite amusing that there are those here, everywhere, who feel themselves so "in-the-know" with regard to the "things" of god... and yet, vehemently deny the spirit... and its gifts.

they pomp and posture over what "the bible says"... as if they are truly knowledgable.

they hold it up as god's infallible word, that which should be consulted devotedly, in order to know god... and the "things" of god... all the while denying what it itself has written in it.

is it wrong for a man to cry when he feels pain, either physical or emotional pain.

we all know that women cry when they become emotional, but for a man, is it appropriate or not appropriate to cry.

is it seen as weakness for a man to cry?

Witnessing to JWs at a magazine stand in the mall

i think a big mistake that some make in trying to get a jw to see they are not in the one and only true religion is to argue about bible doctrine.as soon as you use the any scriptures they see it through wt interpretation filter, only the most open-minded will be able to entertain an interprtaton contrary to wt, and with 5 meetings of indoctrination a week very few are that open.. another approach may be perhaps better, it will not have very quick results, but it could put a crack in the thick shell the wt has formed around them.. here the approach i used at the mall when witnessing to the jws (two women) at their magazine stand.. as i was looking at the books i mentioned that my son-in-law was a jw (would not tell them that i used to be one).

and also that they are nice people but there is one thing i dont agree with and that is that they think they are the only ones that are going to be saved and that all the other people that believe in christ are doomed for destruction.. of coarse they have their clever answers that are designed to deflect such objections such as "only god can read hearts" and the like, if you press them some more, which i did, they will answer to the effect that yes they believe they do have the only true religion, which they did, and then went to explain why they felt that way.. .

i then proceeded to give an example, of a family who believed in jesus christ and had a genuine faith that moved them to help the poor, be good parents, work hard, live good moral upright lives, basically follow the bible, and i then asked them.

Well done D' !! Its is these BASIC questions that the witnesses themselves have a hard time answering,and when they can`t come up with a pat JW answer I think sometimes the chink in the armor is compromised. The seed of doubt is planted and all it takes is some issue that they themselves can`t accept and they walk away. When my bride and I left we did because we had a hard time explaining to OURSELVES these obvious problems in the witness belief system. Good job!!

For all of those who think she abused her power, how do you know? Nothing has been proven yet and maybe, just maybe, she is so big in the investor game that she DID`NT know what was going on.I have a good friend who day trades and does very well and much of the time his stocks are traded when they reach a certain point price-wise not because of insider info. I personally think Martha is a snobby bitch but that still doesn't mean she used her influence to gain an edge.Good post XJWB12INCHES TOO!!!! We might see you at KB Falls this weekend!! I phoned you this week but you were out I`ll call next week. Maybe do lunch?
