Third world countries, have been abused by large main stream Churches,
like the Dutch Reform in South Africa, the Catholic Church in Latin America,
Colonizer churchers, people still want to worship God and the WT presents itself
as "rule free" like its simple , safe and friendly, and you can drink alcohol, dance,
and at first it all seems harmless, till they get involved and the rules become like
a chain link fence around their lives, to some this feels safe.
as jws we were often told what the theme of the bible is, we were taught that it was the promised seed.. i was recently asked the question.... what is the main "idea" of the bible?.
for me the whole purpose of the bible is about control.
it features a god that punishes and rewards.
When I was freed from the stifling and false doctrines of the WT.
I then proceeded to read the book of James, Romans, John and the whole Greek
scriptures with new eyes, I found it liberating, and very mystical, I found
Jesus to be interested in women, in liberty,in freedom, in grace, in very mystical
concepts, and nothing the WT taught even approached what he was talking about.
the other day i had a couple of drinks and went off on the gb (again), about how they are just posturing and have no clue.
i said if they knew what they were talking about we would already be in the new world, but we're not ..so they dont...the end.. well i got some push back as would be expected, but what surprised me was what she said a little later.
firstly she didn't pay attention to the public talk this past sunday and instead read an article in a watchtower on stress.
Now if only we could see some critical thinking from elders,
and men in general. The world has been essentially run by men

if you do a little research there are many physics forums, discussions, and books about this.
it's a bit challenging to grasp but it's very interesting.

hello everyone just wanted to relate a situation that occurred a few days ago.
so i have quit going to meetings for a few months now based on some issues i have with the explanations of current doctrines.
my wife is none too happy with this but over the last few months we have had some date nights and have tentitively agreed to disagree.
Its another example of how the WT interferes in family relationships.
And convinces mothers, fathers, husbands and wives to choose the
"organization" over children and parents and those whom only death
is supposed to separate.

The whole tone of the "Letter" is a thinly veiled threat.
Like the Mafia boss who kisses you on the cheek and inquires
