  I was thinking along your same reasoning. The NT type has the unique ability to completely understand abstraction in its many forms. The NT type also is able to understand abstract ideas so thoroughly, that they can take an idea that is abstract and transform it into a concrete, logical solution.

  This is a nightmare for the borg because often times, they will intentionally write/talk in abstract ideas to inspire people, but without any concrete solution or reason. The NT type can take that abstract idea and apply it to people’s lives, or a congregations needs, or deconstruct it entirely, proving it has no merit. The NT type is, like you guys pointed out, the most likely to exit, or make no organizational progress, and they are the most likely to be skeptical of others, especially when emotions are involved, or when postion/power is at stake.

  Because of all of this, I’ve often thought that the NT type is really the greatest intellectual threat to the borg. Not only because they can tear their ideas down, but because if enough NT minds came together, they could destroy the entire borg from within.

  today, thanks to a brave do and my colleague elkatire 1980, we make make public the manual, guidelines for traveling overseers (tga-s), of which existence many suspected, but even in english, it wasnt available.. from its very title page, this book indicates in bold letters:.

  it should not be shown to others, nor should any portion of it be reproduced.

  congregations are to pledge a monthly amount to be sent to the society to fund the building of assembly halls and kingdom halls.

  congregations who already have a loan from the society will no longer have to pay back the loan but the amount pledged should not be less than the current monthly repayments to the society.

  There's a clear line between missing critical information because of a lack thereof, and wild rampant speculation that confuses and does not inform. This thread unfortunatley has crossed that line. I saw some honest posts of people who were confused and could not discern the WTBS bashing from actual fact. I know it wasn't your intention, but it is what is happening. I have found myself doing the same thing, even inside of the borg. Sometimes people get carried away, sometimes people like to get carried away.

  Ah, you hit it on the head. And I certainly can't argue against disscussion for the sake of disscussion, or even meandering debates. But the comments in this thread in particular were so farfetched and outlandish that some were getting confused as to what was actually being changed.

  I'm sure the well-meaning intention to inform was there at the beginning, but it has become almost laughable what some have said in this thread, I mean just way out in left field.

  Lol, reading some of these posts makes me feel like I'm at a meeting listening to absurd comments . . .

  In this case, yes to both. You, along with your contact and others in this thread, are filled with an excessive and single-minded zeal, or obsessively concerned with this idea. That makes you fanatical. Plus your contact is a JW, correct? Even more reason why this idea is susceptible to fanatisism. It was fueled by an unobjective JW who did not have all the facts.
