by C0ntr013r infirst of all; i must admit that i'm not a huge fan of putting people in boxes like this, it is not an exact science.
but i still think the data can be quite interesting and i intend to collect it and share it in a structured way with you guys.
so without future ado here are the details.. link to test: .

Does anyone have access to any/all of the S-300 forms? Those would also be good to have in the public domain. Thanks. -

I didn't see anything like these women running around at my RC. All I saw was a bunch of strung out, single 45yr old sisters running to get seats, and some idiotic little 15yr olds who were forced to be there. I guess I was too busy. Oh well.
I wouldn't be surprised if these chicks were all on the edge, had worldly boyfriends, and are just waiting for the right moment to get out or start a quick fade.

Re: Music at Theocratic Events
by pixel inthis is a crappy letter from the watchtower.
i'm only posting it to show how micro-managers these fools are.
and at the end, they say: "we should avoid making specific rules about somewhat technical matters".

Apparently the circuit overseers wife couldn't hear some of the comments in their entirety. What a bitch. Comments are the most difficult thing to adjust for. You literally need to have your hands on the mixer at all times during commenting to compensate for everyone's speaking style/volume. She should be glad I wasn't there in that meeting; her husband would have beat her face that night.

hahaha, so true
BTW, your dB settings seem a little on the high side to me.
You may get above this if a brother gets loud, or below if he talks quietly. The goal is to have these as averages, to allow for modulation. My proximity to Bethel also induces the need for that ridiculous Knorr-era 60's sound of blaring speakerphones, hence the settings

Now Even JW Men Are Going To Die At The Big A
by OneFingerSalute inso this weekend there was a part about not following jesus at a distance.
the speaker made a big point of stating that any baptized jw male who was not either appointed ms/elder, or at the very least "reaching out" actively, was in fact following jesus at a distance.
he said that the only way to live through the big a was to follow jesus closely.

Besides, if the GB stuck to the qualifications listed in the 1Tim 3 and Titus 1 then more 'would' qualify. They have replaced the Bible qualifications with their own, mostly unwritten, largely BoE specific requirements.
This.
It's so simple. They're so busy trying to prove their loyalty to the organization that they fail to prove their loyalty to gods word. I shake my head every time. Just follow the bible, why make it more complicated than has been set forth in the scriptures?

The WTBTS "almost" admits the truth.....
by DATA-DOG induring the wt session, the org admits that the actions of eldubs can cause an eventual shortage of "qualified " brothers, and it has.
they speak of a lack of teaching as the cause.
in reality, it's the legalism and control issues within the org itself that have caused a shortage of men who are willing to reach out.

I'm actually putting forth an effort now just to see if I can make MS before I fade.
What you should do is after you put in all the work, when the CO and COBE finally meet with you and ask the question "Is there any reason why your appointment should not be announced to the congregation", answer with "yeah, I don't want to actually be an MS, I just wanted to see if I could make the cut" and then just get up and leave. That'll get your fade started REAL quick, lol

Breeding Ground for Sex offenders
by enigma1863 inthe watchtower would never claim that they want child molesters in their congregations.
no 'respectable' organization would.
that doesnt mean they are doing anything to prevent it though.

Most current Jehovah's Witnesses do not know they have a list of known or suspected pedophiles, rumored to be 56k in number, and they will do anything to keep the existence of that list unknown to the public and especially to their their members.
Is there actually anything out there to prove or hint to the existence of such a list? (besides hearsay by individuals on ex-jw sites or idiotic el-dubs . . . no offense)
If so, can you direct us towards that info? Thanks.

How Some Climb Up So Quickly?!!
by Sofia Lose inour current co has not been in the org all that long, less than 10 years, and already quite a respected overseer.
i know of a few married couples in the spanish congs that are doing everything right, you know, with the theocratic schooling, the pioneering, etc., and... nothing!.
how do some seem to reach certain posts so damn quick, while others cannot make it?!

Others move up fast because they were "brought into The Troof" by a "heavy" who helps them up the ladder.
I can't tell you how many times I've seen this. People who change their lives, come from the world and make a transformation are literally worshiped by JWs. The yearbook is filled with nothing but the typical "I did drugs and slept around, and now my life is serving Jah!" type experiences.
If you grow up in jw-land, no one could care less because your life is boring, pedestrian and drama free. Plus they can't publish and sell the born-in story because it doesn't make the organization look any better to outsiders.
