the association to accept fat people (or something like that) is protesting and asking how this determination will be made?

Grabbing eyegirl and whispering in her ear....You were once a "bratty" kid yourself. You know kids are born not even able to feed themselves or change their diapers. It is true, a fact, they are really helpless those dang creatures. They are totally reliant on parents to do everything for them. A parents day is filled with giving the child all that they require and squeezing in time for themselves as well. A bath is a luxury to a mom, or dad. Time to put on make up or curl your hair is a miracle. Keeping kids entertained for 5 hours on an airplane? Damn near impossible. But I do insist on you calling them brats! It makes since to demand a child to do something he is not capable of. Kinda reminds me of spanking an infant for talking at the meetings. And the poor fellow is just testing his vocal cords.

But go right ahead and talk about those damn menaces to society! I mean lets talk about how they act in resturants as well! Come on we are paying for the meals right? And only to have them interuppted by those kids who keep asking the waitresses fro more crayons. Jeeez you would think a parent could teach their kids to sit still for a few hours so everyone else can enjoy their meal eh?

BTW, last time I took my kids to a resturant, the couple next to us, commended us on how great the kids were! We of course thought they had ruined the others meal, because they talked so much. Just goes to show how others have a different tolerance level.

Just going to stick to facts here.

Kent has posted the same type of material since he started posting here, for over a whole year.

The DB did not take weeks to start up.This is what you are assuming Simon. As evidenced by the recent ExJWsRaw site on MSN. The only thing it needed were people who were familiar with rach other.

Kent has a link to JWD up on his site now.

Kent refuses for anyone to talk about JWD on his board...psst it is a bad word, turns into funny astericks if someone posts it.

These bad feelings will probably never go away...but they will lesson.

The ex JW community is small and we are all fighting one common foe. Using all of our assets to do that would behoove us all.

I am sure I can add a few more facts here...but I need to run haha.

Simon, be a big man and post a link. It smells like bad grapes if you don't (MO of course)

I hope you can take what I have to say here in the same spirit that you posted your reply. I am not trying to fan the flames of a war here, I simply would like to add my opinion here.

Kent has been here since March of last year, his posting habits have been the same since that time. I never saw an increase in certain pic or stories he posted, except perhaps during flame wars. As for the Bin Laden pic, wasn't that way back in November? He started his board in March where a few people went to post. At that time he was very upset with you and took down the link for JWD. In response you returned the favor and took down his link. I can understand why you did this. Being human does has it's down side

There was a poster once who said if we all(those involved in flame wars) did not care we would not even reply. There are hurt feelings all around, I admit to having my feelings hurt, and hurting others. When I returned here to post, I decided that I would not become involved in hurting anothers feelings. I also have attempted to stay away from those who have hurt my feelings in the past. In real life we would be able to completly end a relationship such as this, in cyber world much thought must go into this decision.

You have said you have much respect for Kent and all of the work he does. I am sure he has respect for the work you put into the discussion board. There are bad feelings between you, and it is understandable. But who wins? Who loses? IMO there are only losers here. Those who visit Kent's site and do not know of the support that can be found here, and those who visit here and do not know of Kent's information. Both you and Kent are detrimental to those people, due to your pride.

As I said, I do not want to cause any bad feelings here, I just felt compelled to Box both of you on the ears and tell you to grow up Life is too short and the ones who are leaving the society NEED both of you.

Your Volunteer Work?

well, some here think that all we do is sit around a post naughty pics and do no charitable or volunteer work.

i thought we could see who does what for their respective communities.

valis= free computer support dallas shakespeare festival + on the wing again bird sanctuary/rescue, photopgraphic web hosting services for the bob marley festival of dallas, am about to start w/the down's syndrome guild of dallas doing web support and event work/soliciting charitable donations from companies, and my teaching that means working many hours unpaid to help my students personally/educationally.

I am so glad that you did not resort to name calling and degrading cuss words in your post. YOU, sir are a gentleman. I can see your point in the well thought out replies. If you had stooped so low to use profanity I would know which side of the fence you sat on, tis easy to pick out those who are willing to stoop that low. Low class individuals who want to appear morally higher than others, you are not one of those. Bravo to you...I agree with your comments and opinions on this.
