I know Margaret very well. She was reinstated however she and her husband faded many years ago. Her sister Lynette is still in though. Because she faded her family still contact her.

the house had a facelift in the 70's and is looking a bit shabby now.
the old lady who lives there won't let people have a look around the house (quite understandable).

The old lady who lives there won't let people have a look around the house (quite understandable). The underground shelter, which is at the place across the road, is being used by the owner as a junk room and place for him to paint etc. The address to view the photos is

John Safran did do a piece on JW's in Melbourne, Victoria. He attended a meeting and went out witnessing. He tried to get a pioneer couple to run away when someone sprayed water on them and another incident with a dog. He may not have gotten enough 'fun' footage to make the show work though. I will be interested if the show goes to air.

i was informed by a pm that i was wrong.
the informer had visited the home very recently.

I sent you a follow up email. The address for Beth Shan is Cnr LeBarron and avion way. I have found my pictures, will scan them and put them up soon. A couple of the pictures were taken in the underground shelter.

Farkel, If I do not have an address for you in the next seven days that can be be confirmed then I am a sad sorry sob who gets their jollys from BS'ing on the net (sounds like youknew or fredhall!). I have personally been to beth shan along with my wife and son (in late 1990's-2000). I can absolutely confirm it's existance. I will have to do a search for the address. The owner of Beth Shan is very old and will allow no-one to visit however I had better luck with the owners of the house with the underground shelter. I have Ed Gruss's book and by looking at the structure of the shelter it is not a bomb shelter rather a hiding place. I also have a video showing the concrete being laid on the top of the shelter. I will have a look and respond with the area soon.

In a previous thread you mentioned that Beth Shan had been torn down. It is still standing. It is in a gated community in San Diego, I will see if I can remember the address. In addition to the house still being occupied there is another house built over the underground shelter. I have visited the underground shelter a couple of times and found it quite interesting.
