  How many of you guys prefer an intelligent, confident, independent and loving woman of any culture to a subservient woman of any culture?

  This got to be a typo. 1. By your question, you are assuming that an intelligent, confident, independent and loving woman can't be subservient. What about a woman who posses all this qualities who CHOOSES to be subservient in order to survive in a certain culture? 2. Explain what is a subservient woman? 3. I cant imagine anyone would answer to this question anything but YES

  Armageddon -- truth or fiction?

  i happened to see something on the history channel the other night and, as i was half-listening, i thought the comments were made that the word/name "armageddon" doesn't actually appear in the bible.

  i did a quick search thru my electronic "e-sword" bible program and couldn't find any mention of the name in any versions.

  the history channel show said amageddon was a reference to the place where all of the armies are going to meet up to throw down in the final conflict that is called armageddon.

  I Give Up - Where Can I Find Some Good Beef?

  folks, i know that good tasting steaks and ground beef exist - all the years of my youth and when i was raising my family, beef tasted great.

  now no matter where i buy it, whole foods, ralph's kosher, black angus, etc, the beef tastes downright nasty.. vons has pretty good beef, and i haven't tried an actual meat market, but where do you find good beef?
