Grave Concerns Over American Drinking Habits.

indeed, good people, and i am the one with the concerns!

as you may or may not know, hl and i are planning on visiting the land of the free next april.

however, i was deeply shocked to see an example of the nations drinking habits in a film shown on bbc 1 last night.

have you ever been counseled by a hypocrite?

an elder for playing a video game where you zapped bugs from outer space once counseled me.

he said it was not for christians, cause it was too violent, his favorite movie that he would not stop talking about star wars.

An elder for playing a video game where you zapped bugs from outer space once counseled me. He said it was not for Christians, cause it was too violent, his favorite movie that he would not stop talking about Star Wars.

Another brother counseled me for not wearing my seat belt in his car, that I was breaking the law of the land.

He was driving 80 when he gave me this counsel; we were in a 55mph zone.

Ok so tell me about your hypocritical counsel.

i was talking to a good friend of mine who was never a witness, but he knows alot about what we believed as witnesses.

i work with him and he was always joking about how jw's are into amway, you know all the jokes everyone made about jw's that , since we are out, we see are true.lol.. i was telling him how my son jake, 15, likes this musical group called "insane clown posse"(sp)and how crazy this music is , but some of it i even like.

my friend who has a son a little younger than ours laughed about this and said his son is getting into the new age, stuff these kids like now.

He said,,,,,,,,,,,maybe we need to get our son back to the kingdom hall,,,,,,,,,,( joking of course) and put him back into the "witness protection program". That way he wouldnt be allowed to act goofy and listen to debauched music,,,,,lol. You would have to know his sense of humor he is like us,,,,,,, a little on the liberal side on letting our son pick his own music and such...... but sometime we do wonder about that boy,lol.

What Did You Hate About The Circuit OV.'s Visit?

i think that there a number of things about the circuit overseer's visit that stinks!

one thing that i hated was how all the elders got together to "shepherd" the flock right before the co's visit.....what bothered you about the week long visit??

?
