  Mass 'coming out': Revealing Our Identities

  on a the exmormon board i started a topic about fear of the organisation (link below).

  'stumped' put up this idea.... in america, founded on freedom, folks are afraid to discuss their church.

  it's loterally scary.. anybody wanna take a challenge tostate their name, address, phone number.

  oh ya? well it might take a few but thay could get everyone and hard. these are not nice people, thay have a LOT of computer power and braking the law don't bother them.

  we have a son of legal age,only mentally 5-8 years living with jw relatives.

  he studies with the presiding overseer in the knowledge book and goes in service.

  he wants to get baptized like his older brother.

  there is no legal age for MR people with the mentallity of a 5-8 year old.(at least in my state) if you are his guardian it's up to you.

  Flood and bristlecone pine

  i mentioned that the dc in our area featured a talk where the speaker, as an illustration of endurance, mentioned methusaleh, the bristlecone pine that had lived for 4700+ years.

  i asked here for some possible explanations of this that allow for the wt flood dating.

  i had assumed that the standard response would be that the dating of the tree was wrong, that the rings had gotten doubled a few times or something.

  the flood story was a metaphor.

  do you know what happens to a pine forest when beavers build a dam in the middle of it? the trees die within a cupple weeks even if it's just the roots covered by the water.

  we can look to the mexican army scam.(bribery, to dodge military service)
  we can look at how the WT told its people to leave ther bibles home and pretend the the KH was a social club scam(to dodge taxes)
  we can look at how the WT claims that DF does not break family ties(PR scam)

  could it be the WT misrepresented itself??? it has been done befor. it will be done again. one con is as good as another.
