  i'm obviously new here, so i'm going to ask a question i'm sure has been discussed before but has me quite curious.

  what motivates you to spend so much time discussing jehovah's witnesses?

  the WTB&TS cult stole my family. i can't talk with them about the WT but i can still talk. every time i read about someone who has freed themseleves from the slavery or the WT i take heart and share in there joy and freedom. but mostly i wait for the new light that will help my family see the WTB&TS inc. for what it is. i wait to read the posts my farther or brothers writes.

  a growing body of evidence suggests that being a jehovah's witness can be good medicine.

  new findings seem to emerge every other month: jehovah's witnesses live longer.

  prayer helps heart patients.

  ya i know i read all the WT articles on how to deal with the abundance of joy in the JW org. i read how JW are living longer then even the russian yougrt earters. thay are not killing themselves at an alarming rate. thay are not geting sick from the stress. the lack of med. insurance is having no illeffects on the JW who goes to the hall every meeting.

  well we know JW's have the only TRUE "strong faith" so only JW strong faith can help people "cope"- ofcourse the cancer still kills them but thay cope so very well.

  yes, you can eat blood and fat and shellfish and pork.
  you can not eat food offered to idols and love your farther with all you are. you can work on sunday if need be. if you marry outside the lord you are not married. so you can not marry outside the lord.

  love. can you do these things to someone you love like jesus loves? what laws can you brake that will not brake the law of love?

  Halloween!! What do I dooooooooo!!!!!!

  ok this will be my first year participating in halloween.

  i grew up a jw, so have never enjoyed it as a kid or as an adult.. so, i need some guidance!.

  you can do what i do. trun out the lights and eat the candy. some people like to dance in the moon light, clothing optional. too cold for me.

  we've seen internet copies of paul gillies letter and the translation of the letter sent to beroea.

  does anyone have a hard copy of a letter from the society in english that can be scanned in?

  it would seem that someone at the un could comment on the society's characterization that they never understood their membership as a ngo to be anything more than allowance to use the un library.

  as you read down you will find jw's mentioned along with the catholics as having serious problems with child molestation issues.

  think about it, a year ago this would have been unheard of, yet due to the efforts of so many who are no longer silentlambs, around the world jw's are comming to be compared with the catholics when it comes to hurting children.
