  Was Adam black?

  okay, it's an old question but we haven't examined it here yet so let's have your thoughts.. adam was the progenitor of the whole human race, from his genes sprang the negroid, caucasian, mongoloid, indo-european and every other race on the planet.. the hebrew people were not selected as jehovah's chosen nation until abram had found favour with god so presumably all races were equal in his eyes before then.. so then, what basis is there, if any, for deciding what adam and eve's skin colour may have been?.

  could they not indeed have been black or blonde or chinese looking?.

  this is a pointless discussion i grant you.

  It seems to me that the body types we call white are adapted to the could, while the body types we call black are adapted to the heat. I haven't found one difference in bodes that don't help the people survive best in the environments that they are found in naturally, aside from migration and interbreeding.

  it is abundantly clear from the historical evidence that the "gardan" was on the planit Mars. when the first people were kicked out of the gardan thay were ovviously transported to the area of the world we now call the bermuda triangle. Kent is correct in his assertion as to the original color of Adam. however Jehovah changed there color. this is referenced in the bible by the "animal skins" they were given to help them survive in the drastically different environment here on earth.

  new software has been developed by the brothers at the london bethel which heralds a major advancement in computer controlled publishing.

  it has been described as the biggest step forward in the integration of artificial intelligence and real time content authorship ever to be achieved.

  the basis for the break through was the merger of two systems which have been in use at jehovahs witnesses printing facilities for some time; the multi-lingual photo-type setting system and the cd edition of the watch tower library.. two huge cray computers running neural-net design artificial intelligence engines scan old copies of watchtowers, awakes and numerous other witness literature and re-draft the information into an entirely new and palatable form complete with pictures and various other resources from a un database.

  " after speaking of the most notable figures from the old testament it says:.

  "women received their dead by resurrection; but other men were tortured because they would not accept release by some ransom, in order that they might attain a better resurrection.

  now i'm not catholic, at least not yet. what kills me is that the Bible was declared the Inspired scrolls of the catholic church AFTER the church illegally went apostate, making it by nature an apostate work and NOT inspired at all.

  i recently found out that if you go to the western right mass every day you will hear the whole Bible, less some of the long lists you will find in books like numbers etc, in 3 years. is this the case in the Byzantine Rite too?

  i didn't know the WT considered maccabees to be reliable but uninspired. isn't that what the WT and awake magazines are considered, "reliable but uninspired"?

  My Step Son

  i picked up my 18 year old step son today, i mentioned last week that his dad threw him out because sean and his step mom didn't get along.

  dad handed off luggage, etc, a hug and a reminder to "go to meetings as often as you can.".

  as soon as his dad was out of ear shot sean said, "well, i'm 18 now, i have options, what would i have to do if i wanted to become catholic?".

  the topics ranged from the frivolous to the profound, and one of the columns that generated a great deal of feedback was the one on what is known as "newcomb's paradox".

  Skimmer hey, it seems that the people with 1,000,000 failed in there task and the people with 5,000 succeed. some is never ever the max. all is always the max. the people with 5,000 most successfully maximized their results. though greed mite make some think not.

  Hi Skimmer,
  now I'm no grate thinker but it seems to me that you use your free will when you make your Choice to participate in the experiment. However you are NOT asked to make a "choice involving two boxes" and this is why. "Your goal is to maximize the amount of cash you get to take out of the room." if there may be $$ in both boxes and you can carry both boxes you can not take only one box and know that you have maximized the amount of cash. but if you take both boxes then you can know that you maximized the amount of cash. remember maximizing the cash is the choice you made. The Experimenter seems to be irrelevant you MUST take the 2 boxes or leave 5,000 there by failing to max. the $$ and failing in your goal. to take box A only $$ or not is to knowingly not "maximize the amount of cash you get out of the room".

  so when you started to work out all you thought so logical and true was actually rather pear shaped what did you think?.

  "i'm ging to bring this organisation down".

  "when i tell people this (whatever point you like 607 etc)they'll be shocked like me and want answers".
