((((((((((((April)))))))))))))) I am so happy for you and Randy. I hope that things start looking up now that you can be together.
Cassi DOES have a way of making us smile, huh? :)
I e-mailed you about my Illinois trip.
Love,
Dottie
november 26 was my birthday.
i missed having people say happy birthday like they do when they know someone here is another year older.. minimus started a thread a while back, when i was here for a few days, about what this board means and if you thought the people here were your friends.
i've been here a while, and have told some of my stories to you, but i haven't been totally honest.

i dont even know whether or not to bring towels.
lol.. i can set up flights to/from the states here (even interstate flights), but when i get there i will be the original innocent abroad.. what i need.
Steve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will help ya! Let me know if you'll be in Southern California.
after leaving chat last night, i was in bed snuggled next to thunderrider thinking.
one of the group had been doing blurbs of kingdom songs, i don't remember any songs, or any scriptures or hardly any names of the books, i don't remember quotes from the stage or comments made by others.
have any of you ever felt this way?
LOL target!!! As Dr. Seuss would say, Oh, The Places We Will Go!!! Speaking of balls...I wonder how hard it is to crochet a scrotum warmer? Should it be attached to the penis warmer, or have buttons, snaps or perhaps a zipper? Sheila, I hope that your pattern is very specific about this. Oops, Sheila! You were RIGHT! Okay, this time I really, really promise not to mention 'penis warmer' on your thread again...

Sheila, I promise not to say anything more about penis warmers on your thread, BUT.......
MILLIE!!!!!!!!!! Waaaayyyy COOL!!!!!!! Let's do it!!!! I've been looking for an ace embroiderer and you actually use a Machine! We can really PUMP those warmers out! I'm sure that the men who play golf would find penis warmers handy, but let's think BIG. We have a very lucrative business in the making here. My goal is that every man (and phallic symbol) on this planet be the proud owner of a personalized crocheted penis warmer! We can do this, Millie! I have good vibes about this. Which reminds me, I'm outta batteries...
Thanks, Sheila, back to you.

Farkel, hahahahahah I'll send you a dish cloth, but do you have any other patterns handy?
Sheila, doesn't sound like too good a deal to me. If you DO build it (what is it, anyhow, a gun? mmmmm I could make penis warmers for guns...), maybe you could send me left over parts and the instructions, k?

Sheila, that is way cool. If I send ya a dish cloth, would you send me patterns for the rug (a great idea for scrap yarn) and the penis warmer? Please e-mail me.
A nun at my high school taught me how to crochet, but I don't even hold the hook 'correctly' now. I just ordered a couple crochet books (I doubt there will be penis warmer patterns in either of them).
It's a great way to stay sane. One of these days I'm gonna get back to painting, which really seemed to center me when I was younger. I love crocheting dish cloths (and, eventually penis warmers) for my friends for now, though.
some of you may remember that i had to take on a second job.
it's a graveyard shift at a gas station.
my day job boss is trying to get me reclassified so i will make more money and get to stay in my office.
Hi Scarlet...it's New West Exxon.

Some of you may remember that I had to take on a second job. It's a graveyard shift at a gas station. My day job boss is trying to get me reclassified so I will make more money and get to stay in my office. I am in a pool to get a higher position at the college, but because of the budget crunch (don't get me started), hiring is at a stand still. I went through all the loops and now we have this freeze. My obvious plan was to get more money so I could quit my night job.
The good news is that my second job boss evaluated me yesterday and I will be getting a $.75 raise effective immediately. I feel really lucky to have gotten this job, although I am dead tired all the time and don't even ask what my house looks like at the moment. I don't know if I will ever get used to working two jobs, but if they keep giving me raises at the gas station, how can quit? The bastards!

Hi, Sheila. For me, it's like riding a bike. I can go to a bible and still find scriptures, but would rather crochet.
You probably don't remember the music, because that is a very loose term for the mind-manipulating stuff we endured for years. I tend to block a lot out, too. They lied to us and we lived their lie. Why dwell on it?
WELCOME, UNBELIEVER!!!
I pass by the kingdoom hall every now and then. When I first walked away and still believed in it, of course I felt twinges of guilt. Now, I see it as a box with no windows full of people with no incite. I feel a little sadness that it wasn't the truth and a little anger because it wasn't the truth, but I am totally at peace with the idea that I'm not on the inside looking out (although, in reality, you can't!).
