  Alan, I don't know about the wiring problems, but I can tell you about Jonathon. Kelsey and I were good friends around the time his son contracted bacterial meningitis. He was unconscience for over a week and the doctors actually told Kelsey that his son probably wouldn't make it. He finally came out of the coma, but had to have both his feet amputated. His son is in his early twenties. Granted, I don't live near Kelsey, but while this was going on, we were talking to each other on a daily basis and he couldn't have been jacking me about this. It was a horrible experience for him and his son, and lasted for weeks.

  posting on wtlies thread i got to thinking about the shows i watched as a kid.

  there were a couple that scared the &*^% out of me.

  the old twilight zone where the little demon guy was on the airplane wing was really scary.

  there were a couple that scared the &*^% out of me.

  the old twilight zone where the little demon guy was on the airplane wing was really scary.

  There was a Trilogy of really scary movies many years ago. Karen Black was in one (the one about the voodoo doll attacking her). But what really, really was scary was the one about water dripping in the sink, a fly buzzing around and a dead woman laid out in the bedroom. Her housekeeper comes in and practically pulls the dead woman's finger off getting this ring. The dead woman rises and slowly, oh, so slowly goes to her and kills her!

  The music in One Step Beyond was the best, as far as scary goes.

  This is gonna sound really stupid, and I saw this a few years ago, but Blair Witch, the scene when the guy is saying he heard a 'cackle' outside the tent. That made my hair go up on end.

  Another footnote: I went to see Easy Rider while on LSD. I wore a black velvet dress. Someone had given me a red flower. I completely freaked out when they get shot in the end. I cried hysterically in the theatre. No one could console me. I was a wreck. Yet I married two good ole southern boys. When will I ever learn.

  I'm with Mulan. One Step Beyond gave me the royal creeps. The two that stick out (no, not boobies) are 1) when this group of close friends all meet for a reunion a year after WWII and one friend comes in on his glider, dead, and 2) the one about the blood stain of a skull that won't wash off the wall. These stories were all based on facts. Pure creepiness.

  The first movie that made my back go all tingly was Vertigo. When we got home from the theater, I had an incredible fear of going up the dark staircase entry into our house. Had nightmares for weeks. Madelyn. The name gives me the creeps to this day.

  Where is the man who loved Jehovah so much?

  i have to explain why i say this, why i miss the man who loved god so much.

  when i met my husband he was only 18 yrs old, and so deligent to serve jehovah.

  we were both so much alike, we loved our god, but also deep down, loved what the world had to offer.

  well, tomorrow's the big day........i'm nervous but i just want the surgery over with.

  anyway, i'll be out of commission for a while, so i thought i'd say bye and thanks for all your support over the last few weeks.. take care everyone!.
