Dwelling Together In Love & Unity
by Farkel indear brothers and sisters,.
in these difficult and trying times we are so grateful to have jehovah's organization feed us the spiritual food we need at the proper time.
we are truly blessed that jehovah has used his organization to help us all continue to grow spiritually.

You "apostates" encourage me!
by Smiles inyeah that's right.
imagine that..... after everything the wt has said about people like you.
and after the wt has labeled you as 'bad people', 'satan's offspring', "apostates", people who have committed the "unforgivable sin"........ .

How Do You Measure Your Self Worth?
by minimus inhow do you feel about yourself?
do you struggle with what kind of person that you are?
do you feel happy, empty, or are are you apathetic?
-
Windchaser
Well, Minimus, I can't force you to accept one. It doesn't have to be a dish cloth, you know. You could use it to wipe your mouth after you barfed or I can fold it over and sew two sides to make a penis warmer or if you would like pot holders instead, it will take a little more time, but I could do that, too!
I don't know how to make liquor, although I do have a beer making kit. Will beer do?
I still like you even if ya don't want a dish cloth...
Wind, saddened, but keeping a smile on her face and tapping her keyboard in a most optomistic way.

Does god really love children?
by kelsey007 inmany people claim that the god of the bible loves children and fetuses.
but what does the bible say?
according to god's law, children are not persons but the property of their fathers, who may sell them as slaves.

Hehe Danny, I think I've finally gotten an answer to a question that has been problematic to me since I first opened and read the Bible. I have often wondered why God is so different in the new testament as compared to the old.
What you say is the best answer I've gotten so far: the human experience factor!!!! hahahahah
UnDees, do tell, why was god such a shithead in the ot?

I got an answer from my dad
by Elsewhere infor several months i have been asking my family and the organization what the difference is between someone who "simply leaves the faith" and someone who "went out" (disassociates).. http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.aspx?id=39631&site=3 .
today i finally got the answer from my dad on the phone.
according to my dad (an elder), someone who simply leaves the faith is someone who still believes in jehovah and the organization, but does not attend the meetings.

I received a lovely sterling silver cigarette case from Animal last week.
I am a bad Santa, though...My New Zealand friend won't be receiving his gift until mid-January, even though it was mailed out the first week of Dec. He graciously understands (I hope).

by pr_capone inhi all, my name is eric, i'm 22 years old i live in kansas, and i am the new guy on the forum.

Are you ashamed to admit you were a JW?
by sleepy in.
how do you feel about telling people you were a jw, does it make you feel like admiting you were a flasher or some strange perv?.
i told a lady the other day who asked about what i was doing for christmas, that i used to be a jw, but i had to make sure she knew i was brought up as one by my parents , just so she didn't think it was my choice.. she thought i was very brave for leaving though.

Frankly, sometimes I was ashamed to admit I was a jw during the 30 years I was one.
I still feel a little embarrassed to say that I was a jw. The name of the religion sounds so strange to me and people might think I'm so weak to have been swept up in it for so long (out of choice). It's been five years and all I've had is good feedback whenever I've told anyone, so it gets easier for me to talk about it.
