Worldwide mailing Campaign Fallout
by dungbeetle inmailing campaign fallout.
recently, kingdom halls of jehovahs witnesses were the largest group of intended recipients of an international mailing campaign, spanning all fifty states of the united states and including the countries of canada and england.. the results in the us have been interesting, and could have far-reaching effects on our legal system and on the preaching practices of jehovahs witnesses.. over a hundred years ago, a group of evangelical apocryphical persons calling themselves "bible students" began a campaign to sell bible-based literature at homes throughout the united states.
from time to time, their effeorts faced legal challenges, some were won and some were lost, but in general the door-to-door campaigns have continued unabated, with varying degrees of success.

I sincerely beleive that it is another form of lockdown used by the WTBTS to keep it`s people in check. This accusation of harassement from the public is only an excuse by the society to make sure that jw`s are not contacted or informed in any way shape or form about things that may involve them personally and protect elders involved in ongoing lawsuits. It is a shame that the protection is not focused on these inoccent children, some of whom are babies. The WWCC is trying to reach the hearts of some or any of these elders in position to protect these precious lives. I`m sure everyone interested has already read the letter. My plea is to those of you also concerned about helping the WWCC with information on how to obtain the correct PO boxes for KHs that can`t be reached.. Please reply to this thread.

I can`t remember any mail receptacles at any of the KHs I attended, There was only the mail slot. It is inconceivable that an organization that is willing to go to court for the right to "preach" would not give people the opportunity to contact them. Why would they hide addresses from the public? Is it really because they wish to not be contacted? Isn`t that an extreme contradiction? We can come straight to your front door, (our legal right), but nobody has the ability to contact us, not even through the mail system. What harm could come to an organization that has an open mail system? Really!

You owe it to your daughter to find out what the elder was talking with her about. If your childs life is at stake, you want to know, and you don`t. You could be right, it may be baptizm he was concerned about. Mind control is very subtle and damaging to ones mental health. Have you ever heard anyone say "yeah, oh yeah that person had problems and I`m not surprised that he or she took her own life."? No, always the opposite. It is always one of shock.
Suicide is high among JWs, even though your daughter is 21, if she is trying to do the "right thing", you must, must, must find out if she has done the right thing for herself.
Protect your daughter, do not let her become a victim. Their lives are precious, more precious than doctrine.
Some children can not withstand the mental torture that comes from the elders counsel, meetings, discussions, accusations, yes, accusations,(she was quiet for 2 hours). Do not let this religion take your daughters life. They have done it to others.
You owe it to yourself and your daughter.
Your daughter is alive now. DO ITwitchywoman

Yes you are correct, my youngest daughter says today that she knew something was wrong with this religion because everyone was trying to make her do everything, pushing things on her, give talks, door to door, presenta-tions (which she never did) baptizm. Her father was a MS at the time.
Please excuse my language flower, but it was to hell with everything (marriage and kids)it was about the facade and how it looked to the brothers that she was not already an active publisher.
Everthing continues to "look good" for him, he is now an elder.witchywoman

JWs Assigned to Fetch Lost Sheep Here?
by HomebutHiding ini have been pondering the whys of jws who regularly, and not-so regularly post to the board.
the possibility then struck me that maybe they are assigned--have special dispensation--to associate here in order to retrieve any "misguided" or "lost" sheep and bring them back into their fold.
or are they, thenselves, on the edge, wanting the freedom we now have?

Hi Flowerpetal
Congratulations on thinking for yourself
and not letting anyone do it for you, please
don`t leave. The people on this board are exper-
eincing a range of emotions, it is not meant to
be directed at you, you could be any one of jw`s
and get the same attack. It is a hostilitly di
rected towards an organiztion. The only way that
I can explain it is for you to imagine that a
woman has given birth to a child, nourishes him,
teaches him to walk and progress. One day the
child does something wrong, doesn`t really matter
what the child does she quickly destroys and kills
her child, so that the other children are not
corrupted by the wronging child. Doesn`t matter
that they are all siblings. Doesn`t matter if all
child knew was this mother and her provisions.
She must keep here household clean.
A lot of us here feel as though we have been kill-
ed by this motherly organization. Until it happens
there is no way of really comprehending the level
of desperation, cold, and heard hearted isolation that comes from this organization. You probably feel differently and are entitled to that.
If something like this happened literally the wo-
man would be comitted to an institution and en-
prisoned. Perhaps you can understand our frustra-tions.
In any event, do stick around, ignore the bullies
I have a daughter still in, her e-mail user name
is so much like yours. Ha, to bad for me. DONT
LEAVE STAY!witchywoman

The thing that I regret the most, would be not persuing the love of my life.(we met at work) We spent many hours talking of each others problems.(both still married) The things we talked about led to my being dsfd. The only people that knew of the contents of our conversations were he and I. Something I told him about myself led him to a reaction that I was not prepared for. I was prepared to leave this man alone and return to the lie. I did not expect a future with him. I tried several times to return to the lie and could not sit through a talk, (Always hearing about dsfd ones) which would be me. We stayed friends for 10 years and shared something that can not be compared to any of my other relationships. About two years ago he was making his way back into my life as more than a friend when his sudden death left me without one of the best people I have ever come to know and love. A day does not pass without thinking of him.
It is my fault that I let a religion dictate to me what I could and couldn`t do, who I could and couldn`t talk to. I know Zev that you said leaving jw doesn`t count. My biggest mistake in life was letting a religion come between myself and someone that I loved. I am grateful for the time we did havee and that he was a part of my life for a little while.Oh by the way that was best sex I`ve ever had in my life.
Just thought I`d throw that in.witchywoman

Tracking Device
by kenpodragon inrecently it has come to my attention that the witnesses have implanted tracking devices in all of their members, and some are even active inside former members.
the device works on a very open level, by causing the witnesses to report all behavior that is unseen and to also report on others that trust them.
the device is far stronger then any used by the government, cia or any foreign power.

This is very sad. I had a jw friend that also commited suicide. I was surprised afterwards that nothing was mentioned of her, she had a manic depressive disorder. She was trying to get help for herself. An intelligent lady. The cong gossip made me sick. And it was business as usual.
What I would like to know is,can the wtbts be sued for wrongful death in the event of suicide? They are to blame in so many ways.
