here's an excerpt from the above link:
"A number of our kehillot have asked whether the new Act applies to religious corporations, since
they are exempt from filing annual audits and fund-raising reports with the Attorney General’s
Charities Bureau. The short answer is, yes; the Act applies to religious corporations. Some
examples of its application (not intended as an exhaustive list) are:
“Type B” corporations organized as for religious purposes under the NFPCL are
now categorized as “charitable” corporations and governed by the NFPCL
requirements and standards for such organizations."
Does the Watchtowers' ' Kingdom Support Services Inc. ' fall under Type B corporations?

Is the Watchtowers' 'Kingdom Support Services Inc.' registered in New York as a Non-Profit Charitable Corporation?
The State Attorney General's Office could probably answer that.
The new law is discussed by uscj.org here regarding their religious corporations:

It is safe to say the year 1914 and the associated significance placed on it by the GB is an instrument to instill urgency and fear
and impowers the delusional self proclaimed leadership to continue on with the charade.

Zeb, I'm sure the Watchtower has made tentative plans for the dollar demise scenario, perhaps this new revenue scheme/stream is a means to that end, there's nothing on the law books to prevent them from making foreign currency exchanges/donations to other branches or precious metal purchases overseas?

It appears to me that the public can get a glimpse of the Watchtower's take at the NY headquarters ( 1 time money grab & pledges also ) by the 15th day of the fifth month after the Watchtower's fiscal year ends. Am I correct?

Below is a direct link to the Non-Profit Revitalization Act of 2013 of New York , Bill 8A072-2013. It is quite lengthy. Interesting to note: Consolidation or mergers of 2 or more religious non-profit corporations is spelled out for specific denominations in sections 24-27 for Episcopal, Methodist, Presbyterian and Jewish churches.
http://open.nysenate.gov/legislation/bill/A8072-2013
Below is a snippet on reporting requirements:
1. Every charitable organization registered or required to be regis-
tered pursuant to section one hundred seventy-two of this article which
shall receive in any fiscal year gross revenue and support in excess of
[two hundred fifty] FIVE HUNDRED thousand dollars [and every charitable organization whose fund-raising functions are not carried on solely by persons who are unpaid for such services] shall file with the attorney
general an annual written financial report, on forms prescribed by the
attorney general, on or before the fifteenth day of the fifth calendar
month after the close of such fiscal year. The annual financial report
shall be accompanied by an annual financial statement which includes an
independent certified public accountant's audit report containing an
opinion that the financial statements are presented fairly in all mate-
rial respects and in conformity with generally accepted accounting prin-
ciples, including compliance with all pronouncements of the financial
accounting standards board and the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants that establish accounting principles relevant to
not-for-profit organizations. Such financial report shall include a
statement of any changes in the information required to be contained in
the registration form filed on behalf of such organization. The finan-
cial report shall be signed by the president or other authorized officer
and the chief fiscal officer of the organization who shall certify under
penalties for perjury that the statements therein are true and correct
to the best of their knowledge, and shall be accompanied by an opinion
signed by an independent public accountant that the financial statement
and balance sheet therein present fairly the financial operations and
position of the organization. On a side note, below is a link to what a non-profit organizational financial statement would comprise of.

The non- profit re-vitalization act of 2013 that Haboob48 made us aware of, was signed into law by Governor Cuomo in Dec 24th, 2013, sooo the Watchtower will have to submit a financial report for their NY operations every year to the state of New York. Now the question is: will their NY financial statement be accessible to the public and when?

According to the McGuireWoods website, if signed into law by New Yorks' governor, as of July 1st, 2014, this new act will be the first major overhaul in over 40 years and will require 'every charitable organization registered or required to be registered to solicite charitable contributions in New York' to report. Organizations with an annual gross revenue and support of $500,000 or greater will have to 'submit an annual financial report accompanied by an independant Certified Public Accountant's audit report containing an opinion that the financial statements are presented fairly in all material respects and in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles'. It would interesting if these financial statements will be open to the public for review. Has the Governor signed it into law? Perhaps for the first time we'll get a peak in the Watchtower's books in New York at least.

Is this new donation arrangement for real?
by nugget injust read a post on jwsurvey about the new donation arrangement.
congregations are to pledge a monthly amount to be sent to the society to fund the building of assembly halls and kingdom halls.
congregations who already have a loan from the society will no longer have to pay back the loan but the amount pledged should not be less than the current monthly repayments to the society.

Go therefore and build religious edifices, dedicating them to thy diety. You must cloth thyself with fine garments when entering and lay before my princes
gold and silver offerings as a token of thy loyalty. For all authority has been delivered unto my chosen channel to observe all things whatsoever they
command of you, sayeth the Lord.
