God-Believing, Christ-Respecting Agnostic...but I could be wrong.

this article states that a growing number of christians say" the question is better restated, 'why not gain the whole world plus my soul?'......
christians should keep an eye on heaven.

I suppose I should stop lurking,

i was raised in "the truth", and for the longest time it was all i knew.
i spent my childhood going through all the things that other witness children went through; not celebrating holidays, not standing up and reciting the pledge of allegiance, not going to school events, or associating with "worldly" children much.

When taking your target away from her group of friends, don't be afraid to be a tad aggressive with her. If she hesitates to leave the group, grab her hand, give her arm a slight tug, and say "Come on, have some fun!" If she still hesitates, tell her with a half smile that she's no fun. Give her a couple of minutes to change her mind. If she doesn't, then it's likely she's not interested and it's time to find another target, possibly even someone else in the group.

Women travel together for a reason, protection. In a world where your drink can be spiked with a date rape drug in the time it takes to turn your head being aggressive with a woman in that way is just asking to be labeled as potential trouble by the woman and all her friends.
And calling a woman a "target" Geez need help getting off all fours and walking upright into the 21st century???

after several years of a great friendship with diane (previously posted as xena) things have started to really come together recently and i've succumbed to making an honest woman of her (or at least as honest as it's possible to make her.
last night (xmas day) i popped the question and she agreed to marry me (i wonder if she knows what she's let herself in for!!!)..
