I heard he was abducted by smurfs and they took him to that little village with them. I'll bet the beer drinking out of their little mugs just takes a bit longer so maybe that's what is taking so long for his return although I heard that he's taken up with Sassette so he may not return.

Honest Opinion, Please
by Windchaser ini'm not very craftsy, but i have a thing about crocheting dishcloths.
it's a basket-weave design and i have mentioned in the past how it helps me to keep sane.
i have been suicidal lately and thought, why not send these dishcloths out to my friends and they will always have a little piece of me to be remembered by.

I would send them and keep sending them. One of my best girlfriends makes these and gave me a set of them over 10 years ago and they are still my favorites!!! They have a more substantial feel to them yet they are very soft and I always know she made them for me.
Thanks for sharing the picture Lew!! Great job Wind!! Yours look just like the ones I have. My friend also made thicker versions of these out of strips of rags and they make very nice trivets to put under something hot on the table!! I use those all the time too!!
Keep makin them and keep sending them!!! I'm curious Wind- how long does it take you to make one? Is this a possible cottage industry for you? People really do love this kind of thing - maybe you could sell them over the internet!!!!!

It's hard to say whether your invite was implied or not. Ask yourself this... Would you like to have a relationship with her?
It may be one of those things where someone loses touch for whatever reasons, maybe it starts out as bad feelings or just life. And the more time that goes on, folks feel like they've passed "the point of no return" so they just let it go. She may miss you as much as you miss her and may feel like because she pushed you away before, you may not want her now.
In any event, it's a short afternoon get together to check it out. I'd say, if you'd like to have a relationship with her, go for it and see what happens.
