Doesn't anyone wonder HOW the press knows someone is a JW? I can tell you why. Because the Witnesses will stand there over a dead body and count the friggin' time, that's how the press knows!!!
Perhaps it was the television news reporters who were on the scene? Perhaps it was the fact that they interviewed the woman's non Jehovah
relatives? The holy books words does not allow for such anger. -

GOSSIP In the Kingdom Hall

every meeting, every day of field service, and every gathering was plagued with vicious rumors that people told to keep themselves entertained.
surprisingly, the pioneers and elder's wives were the worst of everyone.

The congergation is like a family. And gossip is to be expected. However this does not justify it. The Holy Book contains stern counsel to the first Century Christians regarding this matter. If it was an area of concern for them, it is going to be an area of concern today.

Bizarre religious doctrines
by Solace ini am aware of false religious doctrines in the w.t.s.. i never really considered the possibility of others also being manipulated by different religious organizations.. i work with a woman who is very devout in her beliefs.
the women in her church are not permitted to use birth control, cut their hair, wear makeup or wear jewelry.
they may sing but no music or musical instruments are permitted.

Why doen't God perform miracles today?

it is alledged that some 2000 years ago a man claimed to be the son of god , or even god himself (depends what religion you are).. in order to give some weight to his cliam he did some miracles, cured a few lepers, made a slap up lunch out of some fish and bread, and took a walk on some water.. all this to prove he was gods son.. but to prove it to who?.
if you ask a witness why god doen't perform miracles today , what do they say.. we don't need miracles today we have it all written in the bible.. der.

Is a religion bizarre becuase it does not comply with the social
standards that it may be located in? Is it any wonder why some in the
Arabic world detest western culture so much?
