  The probability that autocatalysis in alanine to always form the l-enantiomer is guided is around 50% for me, as of this morning.

  The probability that it was guided by an intelligent being that is playing intergalactic peek-a-boo with us is around .01% for me.

  The probability that this has any impact on my life on this planet, or a future one, is 0% for me.

  crowds celebrating bastille day in nice, france have been targeted by a terrorist driving a truck.. initial reports of 60 dead and 100 injured.. i am losing track of how many similar attacks there have been in europe in recently..

  With billions of people on this planet, and our tendency to huddle up into big groups, I can't help but think this is going to continue for a long time.

  Muslim inspired terrorism should just keep happening.

  The same is true with mass shootings in the US.

  when i was in, it seemed jaracz was the leader even though he was never officially the president of the wtbs.

  It was definitely Jaracz back in the day.

  Since it was probably Splane that convinced the rest about the overlapping generation thing, I'm guessing he is the dominant one now.

  I could see TMO being a domineering jackass but Splane probably wins over the group with his charisma and cleverness. Splane exudes confidence, where TMO exudes assholishness.

  Science IMO does not have all the answers. When I discover gaps in science, it's easy for me, as a temporary measure to fill in the gaps with God. I do this until I have learnt something new.
  What about you? Do you believe in the god-of-the-gaps? If so, why? If not, why not?

  i haven't posted for about 2 years as things have been so busy with work + a nervous breakdown along the way so been on meds & all sorts but things but are now beginning to get stronger & the mists are clearing.
