i went to the meeting tonight to check out things in the local congregation.
this spiritual paradise is showing a few cracks.
when i arrived about ten minutes before the meeting started, i felt like a ghost.
and then stand looking at the guy as if he was the one that did it.

According to an authority we all recognize as a "dictionary" the word "grippe" means "influenza". And, of course, influenza defined is: "An acute contagious viral infection characterized by inflammation of the respiratory tract and by fever, chills, muscular pain, and prostration. Also called grippe."
Brother PurpleV showed love for his neighbor by staying at home, wouldn't you say. And it's the same way today, nobody with such a contagious ailment is expected to be at any meetings.

i found hourglass2 outpost, a forum "for jehovah's witnesses and interested ones", on the internet several years ago; as i recall, around november 1996. from that time on i have constantly seen references to ray franz's book, crisis of conscience.
i never felt any compulsion to read the book, however, having concluded simply through discussion and reasoning on the well-documented evidence in their own writings that the wbts was a sham.
i just didn't feel like devoting as much of my time and attention as it would take to read an entire 400-page book divulging in meticulous detail the corruption rampant in that organization.. recently, though, i decided to buy and read the book anyway.

I do recall having read the above statement in the '83WT, and even though it is in fact an error, just the same it's not understood by the Society as being such ... YET. As it stands right now the Society is still under the mistaken impression that world events since 1914 have fulfilled Bible prophecy (Matthew 24:7), but in my opinion that's due to change in accordance with another Bible prophecy (see Daniel 11:35). Although I doubt that my words would impress you much at the present time, I am of the conviction that we both have been associated with the right religion ... and time will prove that to have been the case.
I, the same as you, have the freedom to go either way ... to abandon the Society, or to remain. No one makes me do a single thing that I don't wish to do. In my case, I choose to remain ... considering myself to still be associated with the WTBTS, although inactive for many, many years. And until certain refinements take place I will have to remain inactive, since I can't fathom my telling others things via literature which contain certain ideas that I myself can't endorse.
I hope that you don't find it unpalatable to hear me say that I really think that if it were possible for me to somehow download into your mind what I have considered over the years since having been away from the meetings (other than a few conventions), very possibly your outlook insofar as the Society is concerned would suddenly change. Such perhaps may be the justification for my continuing on with perfecting a website I have begun to construct (I have considered the possibility of abandoning the idea). It occurs to me that it would be far more practical in so many, many cases to have my thoughts/reasonings compiled in such a way that I can simply say "click here," instead of being faced with the grueling task of coming up with the time and energy to explain things to each individual I meet online.
Yes, like you, I've "had enough" when it comes to the Bible having been misconstrued (remember Daniel 11:35). But hopefully you, like me, still earnestly desire to understand the Bible ... in addition to seeing the Society come into greater conformity with that God-inspired book.

PN is short for Peripheral Neuropathy. PN = nerve damage. It affects only the limbs (feet, legs, arms and hands). In my case, it's my feet primarily. I take a relatively new drug called Neurontin to help out with the symptoms. The drug came to the United States around 1996 I think I read somewhere. I've been troubled with PN for several years apparently, but just didn't know what was wrong ... until it progressively got so bad I wanted to find out, which I did only recently. My symptoms are that it's painful being on your feet after only a short while; your feet (soles, toes, ankles) remain stiff most of the time; there's some numbness associated with it; after standing or walking for a short while there's the feeling that your standing in shoes full of gravel; when you awake in the morning your attention is immediately drawn to the burning of you feet.

Although my memory had faded, I feel like THAT one was most likely the one I had seen before and was now looking for. Because you were nice enough to respond I feel that the least I should do is explain why I wanted the image to begin with. Well, I’m not acquainted with either of you enough to know whether or not you trust and appreciate the Bible as being God-inspired … but in either case perhaps you may be curious as to what my purpose will be for the image. It is my hope, in spite of a difficult to tolerate disease I’ve contracted (PN), to be able to address from a fresh perspective issues surrounding the account of Eve and the Serpent. Without being boastful, I think I’ve landed upon the precise reason for which Satan chose to use a snake in particular to do his deed. I’ve never heard it explained the way I have it figured … out of all the animals that Satan might have used, Why a snake? I have reserved a page on my as-yet-not-so-well-organized website that I believe will be worth a person’s time to investigate. I’m not that well along with the website as of right now so as to share the URL with anyone that might possibly be interested in visiting it. Once I get it going sufficiently well enough I will announce its whereabouts, if anyone cares that is.
