A modest proposal: A national Do Not Call list

there have been reports over time that each kingdom hall keeps a "do not call" list of addresses.
these are addresses in the congregation's territory where, for one reason or another, the jws in the field service are advised not to make calls.

An update for y'all......
by LDH inhaving been an infrequent visitor at best over the past few weeks, thought i'd write and let you know how i'm doing.. first of all, let me say thank you to all of you who have written to make sure i'm ok.. i was hoping not to develop a pregnancy migraine, but i got it.
i had it for almost a month with eden, and it's going on three weeks now.
i have barely been able to keep up with work.

Just to correct your doctrine-eze, the Immaculate Conception had to do with Mary, Jesus' mother, being conceived without the stain of Original Sin, not with the Virgin Birth. I wonder what mary's parents said, if anything. We have no indication that she told anyone other than Joseph. It took a dream of an angel to straighten him out.
If this same person claiming to be God's Son was healing the sick and raising the dead I would at least listen to what he had to say.

by ISP inthe may 15 2000 watchtower page 4 indicated that scholars at the jesus seminar had concluded that 82% of all the words attributed to jesus in the gospels were not authentic but 'derived from later tradition'.. it is difficult to say for yourself but i do find it remarkable that pauls letters do not contain any references to jesus' life, history or more importantly his teachings.
the sermon the mount, lords prayer or the golden rule etc.
do not get a mention in his words to fledgling congregations.

Remember, Paul was not trying to relate Jesus life, he was writing isntructions and further faith building lessons. Also, Paul didn't hear what Jesus had to say while Jesus had his earthly ministry. I firmly beleive that Paul did relate sayings of Jesus when there in person, just as all evangilizers did. When the Apostles were teaching I'm sure they did relate the sayings of Jesus. But Paul was not writing to convert, he was writing to those who already beleived, and giving them further understanding of doctrine.
